About Me

After graduating from the University of Florida with a Juris Doctorate degree, Mr. Jaeger was a prosecutor from 1974 until 1981. During his tenure with the State Attorney’s Office, Orange County, Mr. Jaeger was the Chief of County Courts, Chief of Traffic Court and Chief of the Juvenile Division. As a prosecuting attorney, Mr. Jaeger received special governor appointments for murder cases in counties where there was a conflict with the State Attorney’s Office. He was the first prosecutor to try a Racketeering/RICO case in Seminole County. Mr. Jaeger was appointed to represent the State Attorney’s Office at the National Juvenile Justice Conference in Washington D.C., which resulted in a statutory reform of juvenile law in the State of Florida.


 


Mr. Jaeger has handled thousands of criminal cases ranging from traffic offenses to first-degree murder. He was the first defense attorney to try a RICO/Racketeering case in Seminole County. He has attended and graduated from the Traffic Institute of Northwestern University, National Vehicular Homicide Driving While Intoxicated Institute in Chicago Illinois. Mr. Jaeger is Florida Bar Board-Certified Criminal Trial Specialist. Mr. Jaeger is a leader in the defense of those accused of DUI and has been in the forefront of educating other lawyers in the field of suppressing Intoxilyzer test results. Mr. Jaeger has lectured on the topic of beating the Intoxilyzer 5000 and Intoxilyzer 8000, the breath machines used in Florida. Mr. Jaeger has served on the Traffic Court Rules Committee of the Florida Bar and the DUI Committee of the Criminal Law Section of the Florida Bar.
