The practice of law is more of a fulltime job than I had ever dreamed in law school those many years ago.  My advice to aspiring lawyers is to be sure they want the law to be their career because it will surely be a gratifying career, but a time-consuming profession.  You must love the law to be successful in a law practice or you won't spend the time necessary to do the job right. 

Most of my spare time is spent with my wife and two children, a son and a daughter, and staying fit through strength training. Occasionally, I find the time to play a round of golf, travel to my family's peanut and cotton farm in Georgia for some fishing, hunting, or dirt biking, or go to nearby Volusia County beaches or to state or national parks with my family for some hiking, rest and relaxation.  I am also on the board of directors of Easter Seals of Florida, Inc., and my wife, Racheal, is active in our church as a Sunday school teacher and in our school parents association.
