My husband got a life sentence for a robbery that could have very well been a grandtheft, for stealing a television from kmart,if Jerimiah had put up a fight . He didn't try hard enough. He didn't speak up at the trial to the jury judge prosecutors or judge. He let everybody run the court room, but himself. He got paid for nothing.my husband could have gotten a life sentence with a public defender. I always had to be the one to keep in contact with him,he only seemed to look more into my husbands case when he had gotten his monthly payment.maybe he wasn't use to criminal cases. He is a very nice guy,but we didn't pay him to be a nice guy, we paid him to make things better for us.as far as his character he is a very nice and respectful, guy he just don't seem to know how to fight a good fight,to save someone's life.

      Lawyer Comment:

      Mrs. Murray,
Thank you for your feedback and input. Although the Florida Rules of Professional Conduct do not allow me to discuss the details of your husband's case, I spent several weeks preparing in and out of the courtroom to give your husband the best shot possible of a favorable verdict.

Additionally, I'm sorry that you disapprove of my style in the courtroom. I have found that despite what is often depicted in the media, that a professional demeanor is the most effective way to communicate to the judge and the jury. If you would like to discuss this matter any further, please feel free to contact me at (813) 251-8200. I wish you and your family all the best.
