About Me 

Mr. Gibson is the founding member of Gibson|Law.   Mr. Gibson was formerly an Equity Partner in the Construction and Commercial Law Department of GrayRobinson, P.A., one of the largest law firms in the Nation.   Mr. Gibson is one of only 150 attorneys that is Board Certified by the Florida Bar in Construction Law.   Additionally, Mr. Gibson is one of only 18 of the over 84,000 attorneys in Florida that is also a licensed Professional Engineer (Mechanical Engineer).   Mr. Gibson is also a certified Structural Masonry Inspector and a LEED Accredited Professional.

 

Mr. Gibson represents persons and entities involved in the construction and development industries concerning general legal and environmental disputes and issues arising from the planning, design, and construction processes, as well as the operation and maintenance of commercial, industrial and public facilities.  A significant portion of Mr. Gibson’s practice involves counsel to and representation of clients involved in claims and litigation relating to construction defects, delay, water intrusion, Chinese Drywall, indoor air quality (IAQ) and mold.  Mr. Gibson's practice also includes transactional work related to construction projects, including drafting construction contract documents, contract negotiation and consultation concerning project development, permitting and financing, as well as intellectual property issues relating thereto.  

 

Mr. Gibson is a member of the Panel of Construction Arbitrators for the American Arbitration Association, and he has been appointed to the AAA’s Advisory Panel (Five Regional Members) for the Middle and Northern Districts of Florida.
