About Me

Jeff is one of  four Board Certified Attorneys in Construction Law at Niesen|Price. He specializes in the area of design and construction defects, differential site conditions and delay damages. Jeff is a member of the Florida Bar and all Federal Districts of Florida and conducts appeals from and to District, Appellate and Supreme Courts.

A former finish carpenter, cement finisher, and ironworker, he has worked in all major phases of construction.

After graduation, Jeff joined with a local attorney in a Washington private practice working in both family and construction law. Jeff was later appointed a District Court Prosecuting Attorney in Washington State where he conducted trials for four years prior to joining the firm.

Jeff, a native of Florida who was raised in Rockledge, returned in the late 1990’s when his wife, Dr. Maureen T. Long was recruited by the University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine as a Professor of Equine Medicine. The own a farm in Alachua County where they raise horses.
