About Me

Immediately following her graduation from N.Y.U. School of Law, Ms. Rudenstine served as the "Death Penalty Clerk" for the New Jersey Supreme Court, where she wrote Bench Memos for the Court on upcoming death penalty cases. She then moved to Montgomery, Alabama, where she worked as a staff attorney for the Equal Justice Initiative, a non-profit organization committed to the representation of death row inmates on appeal and in postconviction proceedings. From Alabama, Ms. Rudenstine moved to Durham, NC, where she did similar work at the Center for Death Penalty Litigation before following her partner to Gainesville in 2003. She  taught criminal law for two years at the University of Florida and Florida Coastal School of Law and then opened her own criminal appellate practice in August 2006. She practices in Florida appellate courts, Federal district courts, the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit, and the Supreme Court of the United States. Ms. Rudenstine currently is expanding her practice to include Title IX sports related lawsuits.
