Jack Zoesch is a partner in the firm’s litigation group. His litigation experience includes a wide variety of business disputes, including breach of contract actions, business torts such as fraud and breach of fiduciary duty, shareholder disputes, and non-competition matters. He has authored numerous motions for summary judgment and appellate briefs in both state and federal courts. He has also served as trial counsel in business, medical malpractice, products liability, and intellectual property cases.
Jack serves as Manager of the Government Contracts practice group. He counsels and advises government contractors throughout northwest Florida on a number of issues, and litigates cases on their behalf. He has experience defending claims of criminal fraud and procurement violations arising out of defense contracts. Jack also speaks and presents on pertinent issues to government contractors.
Jack counsels clients on intellectual property matters. He has litigated trade secret, trademark, and cybersquatting actions. While a Note and Comment Editor on the Catholic University Law Review, Jack published a Comment on the relationship between jazz arrangements and copyright law. He also worked as a summer associate and law clerk at an intellectual property law firm in Washington, D.C., where he gained experience in patent litigation and other intellectual property matters.
Jack is AV peer-review rated for high ethical standards and preeminent legal ability in the Martindale-Hubbell Law Directory. In 2013 and 2014, he was recognized as a "Rising Star" by Florida Super Lawyers magazine, a designation awarded to no more than 2.5% of the lawyers statewide.
