Craig Vigodsky takes a no nonsense approach to your case and is interested only in the facts which will help your case. I will admit to you that he comes off very rigid at first but by the end of my experience with him and his AWESOME team Sharon and Claire I was completely satisfied and felt vindicated! He is definitely worth the $ especially if you are INNOCENT.! Trust him with your defense or divorce. He is Fantastic!
Craig was hired by my wife and I for a very difficult family law matter. He and his staff have proven to be extremely effective advocating for us and getting the results we needed in such a volatile case. Craig pays attention to detail and offers realistic honest advise- followed with aggressive, thorough representation in the courtroom. Billing is well documented and fair.
I have worked with Craig Vigodsky for over 4 years. He has represented me in 3 different cases; domestic violence, family law, and dependency court (Dcf). Thru all of the emotional stress and worry, Craig has been my rock. He is extremely knowledgable in all areas of law, honest, realistic about what to expect, and caring...genuine caring for my family. Over the last 4 years I've seen several attorneys in action for the opposing party, some better than others , but none nearly as knowledgeable or aggressive as Craig. There is a sense of feeling "safe" knowing he is representing me. I'm obviously not Craig's only client, but that is how he and his paralegal (Clara) make me feel. My calls and e-mails are quickly returned, if I need to be seen it's no problem getting in to see Craig. I can't thank Craig and Clara enough for their dedication to my case and giving me piece of mind in such a stressful situation.
I hired Craig in two instances both for modification of custody and mediation purposes. The first go around I was fairly pleased with his performance. I didn't quit get the results I wanted but I was satisfied enough with his performance and honesty during my legal matters to hire him again. The second go around proved to be another matter entirely. I am not sure if it was because he went into practice on his own during this time or what, but he was disorganized and not as responsive to my situation as I would have cared for him to be. I felt that he wasn't looking at my case through "the eyes of a mom" and I definitely wish that he had been more aggressive. I had to provide paperwork during mediation that his own office failed to have ready for him. He wasn't very empathetic to the turmoil I was going through in regards to the ex in the other room, and he even left mediation before I had the papers in my hand so that I myself could leave. I caught his billing services in error and had to have corrections made to that, and unlike the first time with my final statement and money in trust being refunded back in a timely matter-I had to wait close to 5 months to receive my final bill statement and trust refund-which was mailed to the wrong address due to his office's error. Furthermore, after the final mediation ,wording was discovered in the paperwork that was incorrect and had to be changed. His office failed to send me the updated paperwork and I didn't notice it until I had an issue with the ex and he told me to "check with my lawyer because my paperwork was wrong." Sure enough I was looking at old paperwork. Even now I am having difficulty with some of the wording within the paperwork that is definitely going to have to be changed yet again-things that he should have foreseen being this is his area of expertise. After discussing this with his legal secretary I was told it would cost me yet another 2,500 just to get the wording changed, something I will not be using him for. As a lawyer he is extremely knowledgeable and definitely knows his stuff, I just wish he had utilized my money and time better-as well as got me better results.
We hired Craig & his staff to represent us 2.5 years ago. What started out as an accusation from an angry teenager turned into us having to have a full blown criminal defense. I called Craig on a Friday night as my husband was being arrested and spoke directly with him through sobs. He was present the next morning at the bond hearing and again on Monday to talk to the judge and get a bond, as the accusations warranted him initially no bond. Craig was a rock and a very real source of strength in what I would call the most terrifying time of our life. He became the shield for us in what felt like a constant pelting of painful bullets. He worked with us on legal fees and sent a detailed itemized statement monthly of exactly where our money went. His paralegal was very sympathetic and heart felt in our 8 months of sheer agony. We felt we had a slight edge through this all because Craig was once a prosecutor. He did handle our case with the utmost professionalism and genuinely had our backs. He called us personally the minute the State Attorney’s office dropped all charges against my husband and closed the case and remained with us through the expunsion and sealing of records. While we never, ever want to be in the situation we faced again, it was comforting to know we were in the best hands through it all.
At one of the worst times in my career, I was blessed with the best lawyer that exists. While protecting my dream job and new business venture, I ultimately misjudged the character of a business partner and needed the services of Mr. Vigodsky. Along wIth Mr. Vigodsky's staff, he handled my case with the utmost respect and professionalism without making it feel impersonal. He explained things succinctly and put my husband and I at ease immediately at our very first consultation. His paralegal, Clara, also made me feel confident that the case was being handled promptly and appropriately. Every phone call I made was put directly through to her or returned immediately. She is an amazing contribution to his team. The case was handled expertly and efficiently and I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for an honest, fair and respectful attorney.
I was referred to Craig Vigodsky when I decided to file for divorce and it was the best decision I made to retain him as my lawyer. He kept me well informed of my standing and was quick to handle anything that came up. He made sure that I understood everything that we discussed and that everything I was entitled to I got. He spoke to me as an individual and used terminology that I would understand. If there was anything that he had a question about I heard from him and was given enough time to respond and he always made sure all my questions were answered. He is a great lawyer and cares about his clients. If I ever need a lawyer in the future, I will always go back to see Craig Vigodsky because of how I was treated and how well he did on my case.
