After graduatign from Sandalwood High School in Jacksonville, Florida, I went on to serve in the U.S. Army. I lived in Germany and Arizona before returning to Florida. Prior to attending law school, I was a paralegal and managed law firms. I obtained my Bachelors of Science in Business Management in 2004 and earned my Juris Doctorate in 2007. After passing the Florida Bar, I began working as an attorney for David B. Sacks, P.A., where I practiced in the areas of Employment and Labor Law, Workers' Compensation, Unemployment Benefit Denials, Discrimination, Employment Benefits, Personal Injury, and Wrongful Termination.
In January 2010, I opened my law practice focusing on employee rights (discrimination, sexual harassment, wrongful termination, retaliation, and wage and hour claims), personal injury, workers' compensation, and short-term and long-term benefits denials, and unemployment benefit denials.
I also teach Business Law at the Jacksonville, Florida ground campus for the University of Phoenix and Unemployment Compensation Benefits Law at Florida Coastal School of Law.
I try to provide clients with personal representation. In some offices, you never get to speak to your attorney. In my office, I answer the phone as much as my assistant does. This is why I chose to market my law firm by the statement "Dedicated, Caring, Thorough, and Aggressive representation you can trust." I may not tell you what you want to hear but, I will tell you what you need to hear about your case.
I look forward to providing you with outstanding legal service.

I've known Ms. Compton since 2003 when she worked as a paralegal for a very reputable employment law firm. For five years, she worked hard putting herself through law school and passing the Bar. If a potential client calls my office regarding an employment issue, without hesitation I refer him/her to Ms. Compton. She is a tenacious lawyer who goes to the outer limits for her clients.

I endorse this lawyer. She co-counseled an overtime compensation defense matter for a client and came out with an excellent result for the client. He work was quite good and the client reported that she was responsive to his phone calls and requests for information.
