Katie Bruce Johnson joined The Quick Law Group two years after admission to the Florida Bar in 2012. Born and raised in South Florida, she completed her undergraduate studies at Florida State University where she graduated cum laude with a degree in Business Management. Katie then relocated to Jacksonville for law school where she earned her Juris Doctor and Family Law Certificate Degree from Florida Coastal School of Law. While in law school, Katie clerked for Judge Melanie May with Florida’s Fourth District Court of Appeal. She also worked in her law school’s Family Law Clinic for two consecutive semesters, where she represented clients in family law proceedings.
Through her collective career experiences, Katie became inspired to co-author a publication for the Florida Bar Journal with her older brother, a Divorce and Family Law Attorney in South Florida. A natural people person, Katie has always known she wanted a career that would allow her to others and make positive impacts on their lives, which is why she pursued a career in family law. Outside of the office and spending time with her family, Katie enjoys hanging out at the beach and watching Florida State football.
