About Me

I am a life-long resident of Florida and received my Juris Doctor from the University of Florida College of Law in 1990.  Shortly after I began practicing law, I taught Business Law at a local community college as an adjunct professor.  During my legal career, I represented the Department of Children and Families (formerly HRS) and the attorney for the State of Florida Guardian Ad Litem.  As a public servant, I advocated for the protection of Florida's children.

I have been a member of an international non-governmental agency, Zonta International.  During 2008-2010, I was the Governor of District 11, Zonta International, which comprises the 7 Southeastern United States, Puerto Rico, the Bahamas and the British Virgin Islands.

I have been representing parents and children in family law cases, including child abuse and neglect cases, divorce cases, and adoptions for 20 years.
