Harrison W. Poole graduated from Florida State University in 2004 with a B.S. in business management. He attained his Juris Doctorate from FSU's College of Law in 2007. During law school, Harrison served as an associate justice on the FSU Supreme Court, studied a summer semester at Oxford, England, and was a certified legal intern in the Office of the State Attorney, 2nd District. Upon graduation from law school, he was hired by the State Attorney of the 2nd Circuit and was placed in the Tallahassee criminal traffic/misdemeanor division, where he successfully prosecuted thousands of cases including DUI, Reckless Driving, Suspended License Charges, Domestic Battery, Underage Possession of Alcohol, Drug Offenses, and many others. After less than a year in the traffic/misdemeanor division, Harrison was promoted to the felony division and transferred to Quincy, FL. As a felony attorney, he successfully prosecuted hundreds of felony cases with charges including sale of cocaine, aggravated battery, aggravated assault, burglary, robbery, 2nd degree murder, sex offenses, trafficking cocaine, fleeing and eluding, grand theft, and many others. As a criminal defense attorney, Harrison has defended cases involving everything from domestic battery and DUI up to armed robbery and drug trafficking. He was raised in Fernandina Beach and is a graduate of Fernandina Beach High School. He resides in Fernandina Beach with his wife, Debra.
