Shaun O’Hara was born in Columbus, Georgia and graduated Cum Laude with a B.A. from LaGrange College in 2007. While at LaGrange, Shaun played baseball, received honors on the All-Conference Academic Team, was an Academic All-American, and was the winner of the Malcolm Shackelford Award as LaGrange College’s Top Male Scholar-Athlete. Shaun spent a year working in Columbus before furthering his studies at the Mercer University School of Law where he graduated Cum Laude in 2011. While in law school, Shaun served as a research assistant and clerked for the Honorable Hugh Lawson in the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Georgia. Shaun also served as a member of the Wagner Labor and Employment Law moot court team.
In 2011, Shaun joined Pope McGlamry and focused his career on representing plaintiffs in personal injury, wrongful death, products and pharmaceutical liability, class actions and mass torts actions.
In 2015, Shaun joined the Charles A. Gower Law Firm where he focuses on Plaintiff's civil litigation.
Shaun is active in the community, serving as an assistant baseball coach at Peach Little League, and on the Columbus Museum Contemporaries’ Board. He also serves as treasurer of the Columbus Young Lawyers.
Licensed since 2011
Shaun eats, breathes, and sleeps class actions and mass torts. There's never been an instance where I referred a possible class action or mass tort case to Shaun where he did not immediately know whether or not the claim had recovery potential. 5 stars.
