Mr. Byrne has done more for my case than I had expected would be done. He was honest and forthright with the outlook during my consultation. He offered me guidance when he did not have to and did so without expectation of being hired as my attorney. I trust him with my case and recommend him to anyone facing a similar situation.

Mr Byrne was given my sons case after my son had been shuffled around(due to conflicts of interest) to 3 different attorneys. Mr Byrne called me with in 24 hours of receiving my sons files and let me know exactly what steps he was taking for my son.He told me on Friday that he would be in touch as soon as he had any info.Monday I received a phone call from him up-dating me on what was going on.I have heard horror stories about court appointed attorneys. This man IS NOT THE NORM.He does care and shows it.He is considerate of my sons .worries and even called me to ease my mind. You do not get that from a private attorney.I dont know the out come as this case is on going at this time.I do how ever feel confident that my son will have the absolute BEST representation possible in Mr Byrne. He was a Godsend and greatly appreciated.I recommend him to any and every one that needs a great attorney...

I used James in a previous case and I knew I was not guilty. He took it to trial (with my persistance) but kept trying to get me to take deals. He was representing me in another misdemeanor case and without my consent has passed it to higher courts! I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND HIM IF YOU DO NOT THINK YOU ARE GUILTY!!!!

James Scott Byrne’s response: “This client was an indigent appointment by the County to me and charged with Reckless Driving. The State offered to dismiss the charge if she would perform some community service. She refused and insisted on going to trial. I ended up getting her acquitted. It was a needless waste of time and resources-but she got her day in court. Three years later-appointed to her again-she was charged with Obstructing a Police Officer. In the lower court-they offered to let her pay a small fine and would reduce the charge to a City Ordinance violation. She refused and the case was transferred as a matter of law to the State Court of Chatham County-where she could get her jury trial. Some people think it is easier to blame anyone but themselves for their predicament. If you are like this person, then I would advise you to look elsewhere for legal representation.”
