Had to fire my lawyer as she did not show up for my Son's court hearing. Darrell did an excellent job of obtaining and providing usefule information that saved me time and money. Would highly reccommend Mr. Kinbrell.

This lawyer will not return your calls or keep you informed about your case. He overcharges and does not do any work what so ever other than cashing checks. I had to hire another lawyer because he never even filed a motion in court or did anything in defense for the case. Do not hire this lawyer if you want someone who can help you... Please look elsewhere.

Mr. Kimbrell does the job you hire him to do!!! Got my butt off the hook with Georgia drivers license detectives for having multiple ID's. I was not even charged because of this attorney doing a great job for me. He is not inexpensive but worth the fee in gold. Hiring Mr. Kimbrell will be the best thing you can do. Thanks again Mr. Kimbrell for all of your help!

I found Mr. Kimbrell through an online search and must say I am more than pleased with him and the results he delivered. He kept me informed as to the status and proceedings in the case so that there were no surprises and delivered a fantastic resolution to my case. I could not be happier and highly recommend Mr. Kimbrell.

I have dealt with lawyers over the years and I must say that dealing with Mr. Kimbrell was a plesant experience. I had issues with having gotten a fake drivers license years ago when my licnese got taken away. And when I went to get a my license back the process was stopped cause I needed to talk with a investigator. having issues with the police in the past I knew I needed to have a lawyer talk to the police for me. I called and left a message P. Darrell Kimbrell and he called me back that same evening. Met with him and explained my situation and he knew the invesigator. I collected all the papers he told me and got them to him and he set up and met with the investigator without me having to do so. Got the hold on my license removed and I got the license the next day. By far the best money I ever paid a lawyer - he called me back, responded to my e-mails and got the job done for me. A fine lawyer!! He is not cheap but well worth every penny. I recommend P. Darrell Kimbrell and will call him again if need be.

If, like me, you are in the unfortunate situation to need legal counsel, I highly recommend P.Darrell Kimbrell. You may be asking yourself the same questions that I was; do I really need a lawyer? Can I just handle this myself? Will this person even care about me or my case? Let me answer this for you, yes, no, and if your lawyer is Mr. Kimbrell, then the answer to the last question is also yes.
Throughout an ordeal with the Gwinnett County Court system that lasted for 11 months, he was at every court appearance and kept in contact with me throughout the proceedings. Even when I just wanted to plea out and get it over with, he kept telling me to wait it out to the end, and I’m very glad that I did.
Of course I can’t guarantee your results will be like mine, I can guarantee that regardless of the outcome you will be happy to have had Mr. Kimbrell on your side.

I hired attorney Darrell Kimbrell to represent my son on a Underage Consumption of Alcohol, DUI, Speeding and Obstruction. He was very patient with our family and a guiding force in this matter. He advised us to be patient with this legal process as it would take some time to resolve this matter. Always honest and straight forward and frankly blunt in our discussions with him. I feel like he was genuinely interested in helping our son. The process was lengthy and at the end of the day he got a great result for our son. After a trial with a jury, our son was found not guilty on underage consumption, dui and obstruction. Our son got to keep his drivers license and only paid a fine on a speeding ticket. Darrell Kimbrell is fine attorney and you would be well served to have him represent your interest. Thank you Darrell! James Smith

Darrell is a down-to-earthkind of guy you can trust. He does his best to earn your trust and make you feel as comfortable with your situation as possible. He has a great reputation among his colleagues and has a great amount of experience that makes him extremely knowledgeable in his fields of expertise and in the proceedings of the court and legislation system. Hire him.

When I was arrested last year for Burglary, Aggravated Assault, Robbery and drug possession in Cobb County, I though my life was done. My wife's friend had used Mr. Kimbrell in the past and was happy with him. So wfe called him and he met with her that same day and then met with me at jail the same day. I had no bond when I got arrested and he got me a bond. He reviewd my case with me, gathered all documents needed and filed motions to supress with the DA. He worked really hard, kept us informed and called us back. We wnet to Court two weeks ago and tried the motion to suppress, the DA agreed to drop the Burglary, Aggravated Assault, Robbery charges with only misdemeanor drug charge - I got a fine and probation. This lawyer does the job and does it really, really good. What was the worse time of my life has been fixed. He got my life back for me and is worth every penny we pade him. Thank you Mr. Kimbrell

Our son was arrested last year in Cobb County and charged with thirteen charges including DUI, DUI under 21 years old, Attempting to Eldue Police, Possession of Alcohol by Minor, Speeding, Driving in Violation of License Restrictions, Open Container and six other charges after wrecking the car while running from the police. After he was released from jail, we went about trying to find a lawyer by looking online and speaking to friends and co-workers. We met with four lawyers and decided to hire Darrell Kimbrell. Mr. Kimbrell met with us early one morning, at our request, to accommodate our work schedule – none of the other lawyers wanted to do that. He answered all our questions and we felt comfortable with him as he seemed to establish a rapport with our son and definitely had done with us. We decided to hire him at that time and it has been a great decision. He has returned our calls, answered our e-mails and has been very upfront and candid with us about this case. Watching him in Court it is obvious he is comfortable there, has command of the room and knows the law. He has handled this matter with great concern for our son. To sum it up, Mr. Kimbrell’s experience and expertise helped achieve an unbelievable result for our son – one we were praying for but did not expect. Our son was offered a plea to Obstruction of the Police and Reckless Driving with the remaining charges dismissed and received 12 months probation – NO JAIL TIME. Even the judge commented to us that this was some of the best lawyering he had seen in years. Our gratitude to Mr. Kimbrell is immeasurable as this horrible chapter for ours son is now closed. Thank you Darrell.

Darrell Kimbrell is hands down the best criminal lawyer in Georgia and a better person. Darrell knows everyone in the courts and has the pulse of the courthouse in his hands. He kept me updated as to what was going on with my case with phone calls and e-mail. I trusted my life and career to him and he made sure I got it back after some very poor choices by me. I was arrested in Fulton County for drug possession, fraudulent ID and forgery and a conviction would have cost me my job as I am in law enforcement. Darrell got all of the charges against me dismissed. The gratitude I have for this man cannot be described. He is genuinely concerned with you as his client and that comes through in his interactions with you. There will be no better choice for you to hire than P. Darrell Kimbrell

Mr. Kimbrell is very responsive to all inquiries. He does what he says he will do and can relate to you on terms that is easy to understand. I trust him 100% and would recommend him highly to any individual that needs an attorney. I will definitely use him again.

I am deeply thankful for everything Mr. Kimbrell did for me. I was been charged with DUI and five other tickets that added to the amount of $4,500. I was overwhelmed by the legal system of Georgia. The day I went to court, I was speechless when the judge dismissed all my charges. I only had to pay $250 plus court fees, which gave the amount of $365. I thought I was going to have a DUI conviction on my record for the rest of my life. I am very happy with the results of my case. Do not hesitate in contacting this lawyer!

I had gotten a speeding ticket that was apparently a super speeder ticket. I had posted a complaint on a social media site and Darrell contacted me to let me know that I had certain rights. I was unaware of the implications that would have been put on me had I just paid the ticket online as I was prepared to do. The officer did not tell me that this was a super speeder ticket and neither did the recorders court rep that answered the phone when I called to inquire on the fine. If it had not been for Darrell informing me that this ticket could cost me a loss of my drivers license, more than $600 in fines, an increase in my insurance, defensive driving class, and points on my license--I would have been so far up the creek in a mess. I have no idea of all the laws that this type of ticket entails and no one offered to tell me anything about it other than him. He went out of his way to meet me and settle this out of court and with so little out of my pocket. No one tells you your rights as a resident of this state--if you think that you may handle your case yourself....rethink it and call Darrell.

Darrell is an amazing, respectful, and caring Lawyer that always kept it straight up and never tried to sugar coat anything. Willingness to work with you and understanding of the stresses that your situation put can put on you and your family. I would recommend to anyone. Thank you

i was charged with a DUI(less safe) about 6 months ago. When i went to my ALS hearing, Mr. Kimbrell recommended that i "get the ball rolling" by taking the charge so i would have a chance to get all the prerequisites for my criminal hearing done. Throughout this process, Mr. Kimbrell kept in contact with me and advised me honestly and appropriately when i was was uncertain about some procedures. i highly recommend Mr. Kimbrell as an attorney. i couldn't be more satisfied with the results he was able to produce.

While living in Cobb County, I was arrested for first time DUI. Darrell was highly recommended by an attorney friend of mine. I couldn't have been happier with the recommendation! I knew I made a good choice when, at my first hearing, he walked into the court house and was shaking hands and talking with other defense attorneys and prosecutors. It was obvious that he was well respected.
While my case was going through the courts, I had made a move to Chicago. I never once worried about what was happening with it as I received constant correspondence from Darrell either through phone calls, emails or letters. When I had to make a decision to take the case to trial, I didn't hesitate to answer yes. I was completely confident in Darrell's ability to represent me. Ultimately, the case never went to trail because we entered a plea and the DUI charge was thrown out. I pled guilty for failure to maintain a lane and paid a fine. I would highly recommend Darrell to anyone who is dealing with a similar situation. I was able to go about my normal routine while Darrell dealt with the courts. He was straightforward, honest and professional. I can’t sing his praises loud enough!

Darrell, is by far the best lawyer that I have ever meet. Very personable, kept me informed as to what needed to be done. He is very honest in what can be done with your case and how it will play out. I would recommend this attorney for all your needs, you will find out that he is very passionate about the law and about his clients. Thank you so very much for everything that you did for me.

I was ticketed by a federal officer by being on some vaguely marked property and was facing severe jail time and a huge fiine. Darrell advised me throughout the process that I might encounter some stiff penalties but in the end he was able to overcome the sentence and reduce the fine to a very manageable amount. I was fortunate to have Darrell on my team and will not only use him in any further defense situations but recommend him to anyone needing criminal defense.

Mr. Kimbrell was successful in having the prosecutor reduce my charge of supposedly "overtaking a stopped schoolbus" which is a "serious" DOT violation and carries SIX points, to a simple non-moving violation of a local municipal code. Still had to pay the fine and attend DD school, but he did accomplish EXACTLY what I asked for, keeping my driving record clean. The only time I had to meet him face to face was on court day, my wife and I were IMMEDIATELY impressed with his appearance and demeanor. Very personable, even took the time to chat with us for several minutes outside the courthouse. THAT impressed me, consider-ing that for attorney's, time is money. He could have just as easily given a quick handshake and been off to pursue his next case. If you are in need of an attorney, take my word and PLEASE consider Mr. Kimbrell before considering anyone else. He is MOST DEFINITELY "FIVE STAR" representation in the legal realm!

While in Georgia for business, I had a seriously lapse in judgment and was arrested for soliciting a prostitute and possession of cocaine. After contacting my former roommate, who had used Darrell's services a couple of years earlier, I got in touch with Darrell from jail as I was being held without bond. Mr. Kimbrell was out to see me the same day and secured a consent bond from the DA's office the very next day. Talk about getting things done, Mr. Kimbrell can certainly do it. I posted bond and returned home to fret over the position that I had placed myself. Over, the next several months, Mr. Kimbrell kept me advised as to status of my case with updates, correspondence and phone calls. Mr. Kimbrell was on top of my case at all times. One thing I learned from this incident is that it is imperative to have a lawyer representing you who knows the prosecutors well and is respected by the prosecutors as well as the judge. I can attest that is certainly the case for Darrell Kimbrell. And he appears to be well liked and respected by his fellow attorney colleagues. Mr. Kimbrell will tell you to have patience with the process as it will be in your best interest and that is hard to do when your career is hanging in the balance with the outcome. But I did and true to his word, Mr. Kimbrell delivered the best possible results he could which exceeded my expectations as I recently received a copy of a court order dismissing the charges against me. Thank you Darrell Kimbrell as you have given me my life back. One final thing, good legal services are not inexpensive.....I definitely got my money's worth and then some!

Darrell Kimbrell went out of his way to provide his excellent services for me. Even though I was not cleared of my charges,he was able to get them reduced!!! I would definitely recommend Darrell to anybody who is in trouble with the law. He's trust worthy and very dependable. He was upfront about everything that was going on. I just want to say Thank you...

I was arrested for DUI in July 2009. Thank God I contacted Darrell! After interviewing 4 lawyers, I chose him because not only was he very thorough during our initial meeting, but also he came across as if he cared about the outcome. Before I went to court he was very realistic about what I should expect and kept me well informed from month to month. He returned all of my phone calls and emails and was even gracious enough to send me information that helped to expedite the completion of the terms of my probation. I can happily say that literally owe my current freedom to Darrell. Because of his efforts, I have met the requirements of my probation and am able to move on from a bad decision that could have ruined my life. Thank You Darrell

Recently, I was driving from Atlanta to Kasilof, Alaska to start a new job. I needed to be in Alaska on 21- June to start my new job. Getting to Alaska on time was critical. After 5 days of driving, I reached the Canadian border at Sweetgrass, Montana. At this point of my trip, I had 6 days to get to my destination on time. When I presented my Passport to border officials, charges were pulled up (erroneous charges) under my ID number that caused the border officials to deny me entry into Canada. I immediately called Daryl and explained the situation to him. This was on a Monday. First thing Tuesday morning, Darrell was downtown at the records office and obtained documentation that confirmed the charges pulled up in Canada were in fact, erroneous. Darrell sent the documents overnight. I received them first thing Wednesday morning. I went back to the border; presented documentation to border officials and was immediately granted entry into Canada. Because of Darrell’s professionalism, responsiveness and knowledge of the system he was able to promptly get me the documents I needed to get across the border and get to my new job on time.

I was arrested and charged with DUI in Cobb County in April 2009. Being a non-resident of Georgia, I had no idea which attorney would be best for me and my particular situation; having never dealt with a criminal attorney in my life. After spending two days researching attorneys, I made a list of five attorneys to contact and interview about my dilema. Darrell was on this list of five and he was the fourth one I contacted. I met with him the same day - he was very accomodating in scheduling a late afternoon appointment for me - and was impressed with his directness and knowledge of the law. Darrell made me feel very comfortable and at ease in his presence unlike some of the other attorneys I interviewed. When I hired Darrell to represent me I felt like I was making the best decision and I did. Darrell kept me up to date with all that was taking place with my case, solicited my input for the decision making process and returned all of telephone calls and e-mails within a timely manner. Darrell was well prepared for the court appearances and respected by attorney for the State. At the end of the day, Darrell's diligent investigation and overall preparedness caused the State to dismiss the DUI charge against me. I would strongly recommend anyone to place their confidence in Darrell's ability and hire him to represent their interest in their case.
