    Phillip’s Answer

first thing would be to head down to clerks office to look at your case file.... See if notice was sent to you or sent to the correct address - keeping in mind that unless you have provided the court with an updated address the notice of any court date will be sent to the address on your drivers license.... If no notice has been sent then request your case be placed on a calendar for trial since you pled not guilty ..... Of course you can also hire an experienced attorney to navigate this mine field for you as well.... Good luck

  • What is average retainer fee for lawyer in Atlanta for aggravated stalking

Indicted by Grand Jury in DeKalb County, GA. First time offender but witness and phone call recording in violation of TPO.

    Phillip’s Answer

Fees are determined on a case by case basis which, in my opinion, are based upon the allegations and facts involved. I quote fees after speaking with the potential client. I would suggest you speak with at least three attorneys or more if you have the opportunity and choose the attorney you feel most comfortable dealing with. At the end of the day, it is your freedom that you are attempting to protect. With regards,

  • In 2006 I received a traffic citation "speeding. I received an extension. I never paid. Is there a statute of limitation?

    I'm from Mississippi.

    Phillip’s Answer

You most likely have a bench warrant for failing to appear in Court - and statute of limitations would have stopped running when you failed to show up. . You should consider hiring an attorney to assist you

    Phillip’s Answer

that is a fairly fast speed even on the interstate .... It is a super-speeder citation ...... and while you may not have any points or citations on your record, a judge could impose a license suspension as a part of any sentence... You should consider hiring an attorney to guide you through this process -

  • What is the best option for my son who just received a "super-speeder" ticket in Ga?

My son is 19. He has one other previous citation for speeding. On march 21st he was passing through Eatonton, GA when he was clocked on radar going 81mph in a 55mph zone. He stated that the GSP that pulled him over also pulled over another vehicl...

    Phillip’s Answer

you have two options - either your son represents himself or you hire an attorney to assist him.... If he has court on Thursday of this upcoming week you should contact lawyers sooner rather than later in the week

If he has a previous speeding or other traffic citation that adds additional wrinkles to his situation - especially at age 19

Other considerations are whether he has to go to Court in the State Court of Putnam County or in the City Of Eatonton Municipal Court

  • Can Georgia enforce south carolina driving laws, offenses, or infractions. Georgia is not a member of the driving compact

    Phillip’s Answer

Georgia cannot enforce the laws of South Carolina however the State of Georgia can enforce the laws of the State of Georgia - one of which is a person who drives a motorized vehicle on the roadways within the State of Georgia must have a valid drivers license ..... So If you were driving a motorized vehicle within the State of Georgia without a valid drivers license you got a problem - if you have had a valid license at some point in the past and said license is suspended at this time and you were driving in Georgia - you also have a problem
