    Phillip’s Answer

Georgia cannot enforce the laws of South Carolina however the State of Georgia can enforce the laws of the State of Georgia - one of which is a person who drives a motorized vehicle on the roadways within the State of Georgia must have a valid drivers license ..... So If you were driving a motorized vehicle within the State of Georgia without a valid drivers license you got a problem - if you have had a valid license at some point in the past and said license is suspended at this time and you were driving in Georgia - you also have a problem

Yes.... Anyone can be denied employment for a variety of reasons including having been arrested..... If you successfully completed your first offender probation you may want to hire an attorney to seek expungement of those records; assuming you qualify for expungement. Phillip’s Answer

You are always best advised to recite the facts of your matter precisely and exact to each attorney you choose to speak with - this way you will receive guidance based upon consistent recitation of facts and will find yourself in a better position to choose the attorney for your case. As Richard indicated, a license suspension for a refusal is a 12 month hard suspension if you lose an administrative license hearing.

    Phillip’s Answer

If you want to defend yourself then you will need to do what an attorney would do - which is investigate the facts, interview the witnesses, research the law, draft & serve & file motions to suppress evidence if needed, draft & file & serve a motion to exclude statements if needed, appear in court when scheduled, argue your motions, confer with the prosecuting attorney and basically do what any lawyer would do who spent three years going to law school and who has spent time learning as well as training on how to handle DUI cases with a diabetic client..... If you've never done this before you may want to get started quickly as you have a steep learning curve to conquer before your trial..... Good luck
