I retained Mr. Cassara to provide my defense at an Air Force Reserve discharge board and was extremely pleased with his competence, patience, client/attorney communication, availability, professionalism and friendly demeanor. While the allegations against me were wildly exaggerated, I had no recourse against them prior to the board and ultimately, it was Mr. Cassara's expertise that resulted in a complete dismissal of all pending charges and my retention in the Air Force Reserves. With his extensive experience as an active duty attorney, he is a formidable presence in the court/board-room. He was impressive to watch, but that is not what I liked most about him. What impressed me the most was his passion and his sense of caring for the military member. Everything he does illustrates his interest in keeping the good in the US military services and combatting the bad. I would highly recommend Mr Cassara to anyone who asked!

Mr. Cassara provided great legal advice, support, and stayed the course of two years to resolve the complicated situation. He clearly answered all my anxious questions with resolve. He was available by phone when I needed him. I know he won this case for me.

I had an unusual situation in regards to my (honorable) discharge from the military, and Mr. Cassara helped point me in the right directions to straighten things out. Once I completed all the steps he asked me to, he presented my case in person in front of the Air Force Discharge Review Board. I'm thankful to say that through his excellent guidance--as well as his compelling presentation before the Board-- I was able to attain the outcome I had hoped for. Mr. Cassara is an excellent lawyer!

I hired Mr. Cassara when I was having trouble with a Line of Duty claim against the army. Mr. Cassara not only formulated an excellent argument to file with the army board of corrections, but he addressed a letter personally to the approval authority who then reversed his own decision and he won my appeal without evening having to wait for a ruling from the board of corrections. I would highly recommend this attorney for any military related matters.

I had had an impeccable record. I had always been "that guy" doing the right thing. Unfortunately, I had made a bad decision involving some paperwork. After realizing this error I had spoke to a Superior to correct the issue- I was reported! It seemed small at first, but after being booked, counselled, threatened with courtmartial, they decided to discharge me with 19.5 yrs of service. My small paperwork error seemed a huge mountain. I felt as if my military life was over. I had every terrible thought go through my mind about this unknown territory. I spent hours online seeing horror stories of similar cases. I had many sleepless nights. I contacted Bill after they served me with a discharge proceedings. I wanted a board and Bill agreed. He helped me put together a board plan that had over 14 character witnesses which he spoke with individually. He cited specific areas where the unit was at fault and drew out of the witnesses things that brought to light the disorganization of the unit. He helped the board realize that my military contribution is still an positive influence. We discussed the board proceedings and reviewed all of its aspects until I felt comfortable all the way up to the night before the board. The man was absolutely eloquent and precise with the details of my case. I was able to recreated every part of my situation even though it was 5 years before the board. I am proud to say that i still serve in the Army and I am able to retire when i feel its time to leave. Bottom line is the man is Outstanding. Put your confidence in him. His advise is the best in his field.

I recently (August 2014) won my Court Martial with the expertise of William Cassara. I found is website and reviewed his recent cases and I decided to call him. I told him what was going on and about my recent interview (interrogation) with CID. After I retained him the harassment for CID stopped. He was present for my ART32 hearing and did an outstanding job. The government witness became pretty comfortable with his approach and began the trail of lies. When the Court Martial started he pointed on bogus charges and got some thrown out. He knew the Manual for Court Martial like the back of his hand, this played an important role in me case because the Government were doing to shady stuff throughout the process. To include having witnesses change there timelines and stories. He also have a wide network of resources, this is not a one man show. Based on his resources and knowledge, I decided to do judge alone, my case involved same sex accusations of sexual assault. The Gov. had over 500 pages of evidence and he studied it and it paid off. During the court martial he was able to point out the cut corners the CID agents did. If anyone ever ask me, " Should I just use TDS (public defender) or retain a lawyer?' I would ask, "do you value your freedom?" I highly recommend William Cassara.

Bill gave excellent advice. He was extremely professional and when it came to the proceeding- I was absolutely amazed at his fluency and precision of the case. If you are in doubt- dont be! He will give you the best representation available.

William is a great lawyer and a great man. He treated me with respect and was concerned everyday about my well being. My family really respected him and was very happy with his knowledge of military law and they were also happy with him as a lawyer and a man.

When I first contacted Bill about my case he was straight forward. He listened to my brief description of the case and felt confident enough to suggest he would have a good chance at getting my discharge upgraded but didn't 100% guarantee it would be changed. However he made me feel comfortable enough with other reviews from past clients and his seeming routine knowledge of the procedures to retain his services. The whole process took forever (around 2 years just because of all the red tape and sitting on desks the paperwork had to do) but thanks to his attention to detail we were successful in having my discharge upgraded allowing me now to have access to more VA benefits I thought were gone for good. I would have to say it was a good investment for me and if Bill thinks he can help you, then I think it would be a good investment for you too.
