    There are two parts to this question. Are you legally qualified and will the military take you if you are. You need to check with a recruiter but to be honest I wouldn't get my hopes up.

    None of us can predict the outcome, anymore than we can predict the outcome of any case. It depends on the nature of the disability. He should consult with the MEB counsel at JBLM.

    Your doctor and your command will initiate the MEB prior to your separation and, if warranted, a PEB. As for how long it takes, that is going to vary from base to base, depending on the case backlog.
