Robert Gardner has been practicing law with the same firm for 17 years after having worked as a law clerk for 2 years there during law school. During the first 7 years of his practice, Robert practiced primarily criminal defense, personal injury, and divorce law, acting as lead counsel in over 100 jury trials and over 1000 civil trials and hearings. He also served as a court appointed Guardian Ad Litem in Probate and Juvenile Court. During his carreer, Robert has practiced before the Georgia Supreme Court, the Georgia Court of Appeals, the United States District Court, and the 11th Circuit Court of Appeals. For the past 10 to 12 years, Robert has shifted the focus of his practice to bankruptcy law, representing both debtors and creditors in all areas of bankruptcy law, including chapters 7, 11, 12, and 13. Robert is a member of the Metro Atlanta Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys Group and the National Assosication of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys, and he and his firm consistently rank in the top 10 to 15 firms in the number of bankruptcies filed in the State of Georgia.
