    Can you be convicted? Yes. Is it likely you will be convicted? That is a different matter entirely. I urge you to speak to a skilled lawyer in your area as soon as possible so that you can get some peace of mind about your options.

    First call your insurance company ---not the adjuster--and see if they can help. How much money are we talking about in this dispute? If it is a lot of money but not over $15k you can sue him in magistrate court.

    You should file an appeal to attempt to keep the State of Georgia from suspending your license. Even if you missed the deadline for appeal in Georgia there is no good reason not to file as you have very little to lose and there is much potential gain.

    How about you consider a lawsuit against the thief? You can file in Magistrate (small claims) court. Suing the DA is not a viable option for many reasons in my opinion.

    It would be best for you to speak with your lawyer that helped you resolve the case with a first offender plea to consider what effect, if any, your Florida speeding ticket may have. It seems to me that if you have been successful completing your sentence otherwise one speeding ticket should not matter.
