    Outstanding Attorney

In February off this year I found myself, unfortunately, in need of Mr. Marsh's professional services: my experience with him and his Team was nothing short of outstanding.

I interviewed four different attorneys in the Bulloch County Area before making a decision on who I wanted to represent me, and he was the clear choice. It took about 5 months to come to resolution with my case and I couldn't have asked for a better outcome! I had 4 misdemeanor marijuana/alcohol charges against me and 3 driving charges: three were thrown-out, the main charge was reduced, all the driving charges were reduced and the fines/terms were minimal.

    Things to know...

    1) He is a 'strait-shooter' and will tell you like it is

    2) His services are not cheap, nor are they the most expensive (I had a flexible payment plan, which was very helpful). He did quote me the best price out of all four.

    3) The Troy Marsh Law Firm is a great Team; The whole staff is awesome and kept me informed every step of the way!

I HIGHLY recommend Mr. Marsh!! Have a sit-down with him before you make a decision on who would like to represent you.

    Outstanding Experience

Mr. Marsh was very prompt and responsive to any questions that I had. He was straight forwards with me and realistic but simultaneously able to keep me in good spirits throughout the entire case. Mr. Marsh went above and beyond to ensure my satisfaction using excellent communication, his extensive knowledge of Statesboro's judicial system, and ensuring that I completed all necessary tasks before my court date. I had excellent results and I could not ask for a better experience in such a stressful time.

    Probation violation

I was charged with possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. I was hopeless and didn't know what to do. I contacted Mr. Marsh about my case and we then met a week later. I was facing a great amount of time since I had 5 years of probation left to serve, if I was revoked I would have to serve the 5 years in prison and also had the hardest judge of them all. Judge Gates Pead. I was terrified but Mr. Marsh went to work hard and quickly. We had a revocation hearing and I ended up getting 26 weekends to serve in the county jail. Amazing is all I can say. I'm so glad that I hired Mr. Marsh for my case and if your in any trouble and feel hopeless I advise you to do the same, he's great!

    DUI Case

Mr Troy Marsh was professional in all aspects of my case. He helped me fully understand what I needed to do to ensure my success. I am not from around Statesboro, Ga so I was looking for a good lawyer in town. During my trail, Mr. Marsh was able to get my DUI completely dropped. I did not even lose my license and currently working on finishing my probation. I am truly thankful for choosing Mr. Troy Marsh and could not have had a better outcome to my case!

    MIP Case

Mr. Marsh helped me greatly in my two MIP cases that I had. He got me a very reasonable deal with the prosecutor and kept me out of jail. I would recommend him to any student who has gotten a MIP charge or something related, because he knows what he is doing.

Great Lawyer. He will help regardless of charges.

I hired Troy to help with a few alcohol charges, one being disorderly conduct. Although I didn't hear much from Troy until about a month or so from my court date, he knew what I had to do to make a deal work out. I went to court and everything was dismissed. The only thing I could ask of Troy to make him a better lawyer is to make his services a little cheaper for students that truly can not pay for them. Nobody wants a 4 year payment plan to a lawyer! But anyways, thank you Troy.

Troy Windel Marsh’s response: “Thank you for your feedback. I am happy I was able to help you get all of your criminal charges dismissed. For over ten years, through my relationship with the Georgia Southern University Student Government Association, I have provided free, on-campus, consultations to hundreds of GSU students. For any student, or any non-student for that matter, who seeks my representation but truly cannot pay my attorney's fee, I always consider representing him/her pro bono, which means "professional work undertaken voluntarily and without pay." If my case load, schedule, and other professional commitments allow it, I gladly take on the representation voluntarily and without pay. With respect to the comment that "[n]obody wants a 4 year payment plan to a lawyer!," I agree wholeheartedly. I would go even further and say that nobody wants a 4 year payment plan to anyone, whether it be a lawyer, doctor, dentist, or auto mechanic. Unfortunately, quality professional services are expensive. That is just a fact of life. The harsh reality is that, generally, you get what you pay for. That said, I do not accept attorney's fee payments over a 4-year period. My attorney's fee in criminal defense cases is generally a flat fee payable in advance. If a client has a "4 year payment plan," those payments must be made to a bank, finance company, or other creditor because I do not accept payments spread out over 4 years. Remember, there is no law that requires anyone to have a lawyer; a person facing criminal charges may proceed pro se, which means "representing himself" or "proceeding in one's own behalf." What's more, a qualified, indigent criminal defense client is entitled to free legal representation by the public defender. Click this link for my blog post explaining the different types of attorney's fees. http://tinyurl.com/ncfv84d Finally, I strongly disagree with the "Average" rating on the issue of "Responsive." I invite this client, and any current or past client, to provide the date, time, and manner that I received a communication that called for a response and I failed to respond in a timely manner. My staff and I are constantly working on better and faster ways to address clients' concerns and make it a top priority to return all calls and reply to all texts and emails quickly.”

    I highly recommend Troy Marsh

Mr. Marsh was honest, straight forward, and hard working from the first day unto the last. He was always easily reached, and made an effort to return my calls or emails as soon as he could. He worked hard on my case and fought for the best outcome possible. There is no doubt in my mind that I choose the right attorney to represent me.

    Criminal Defense Attorney Reference

My son was a teenager attending college in Statesboro and unfortunately experimented with drugs and got into legal trouble. I didn't know of any attorneys because we do not live in the area but contacted Mr. Marsh who quickly responded. My son was facing 2-5 years years in jail but Mr Marsh was able to provide great legal advise and alternatives that resulted in reduced sentencing of 60 days and 1st offenders. My son now has a fresh start with no record to learn from his mistake, finish college and be a productive citizen.
Thank you Attorney Marsh for giving my son a second chance to learn a valuable lesson and make something of his life!

    Fantastic Attorney

Mr. Marsh has handled two separate alcohol-related cases for my college-age son this year. Being in trouble a second time in a matter of months presented some difficult challenges (i.e., jail/no bond). Mr. Marsh was able to minimize the charges/damages, and negotiated to get my son out of jail sooner than expected. He went way, way above and beyond for us -- keeping me in the loop at all times, and helping me to understand the process which was really scary especially since I live far away from Statesboro. Mr. Marsh is extremely professional, knowledgeable, personable, and an all-around good guy. I would highly recommend his services to anyone needing legal help.
