  • What rights do I have?

If a guy doesn't slow down at a red light, where he's about to turn right, and he's found at fault after we're in a collision, can I sue him and take his vehicle if he has no assests and no income, to compensate some of the damages assessed?

    Gregory’s Answer

You can sue him, get a judgement, then enforce the judgement. The process of seizing his vehicle is filled with pitfalls including the possibility that there are liens on the car. You might be better off contacting the Department of Motorvehicles and see what procedures they in place to suspend his license until he pays any judgement you received.
