I recommend Jill Polster

I hired Jill 1-3 years ago.

Jill handled my Criminal Defense matter.

I have previously worked with 3-5 lawyers.

Although we went with a different attorney, Jill offered excellent advice and was extremely supportive to me when my family was going through a bad legal situation. I would highly recommend this attorney!

A great lawyer and a new friend

Jill handled my Criminal Defense matter.

There are a lot of lawyers out there wanting to grab the first client they can get to get the money, not Jill Polster of The Cohen Law Firm. From day one of meeting Jill she took the time to address all of my concerns and questions concerning my case. Jill assured me that she was very confident and knowledgeable of the law. Jill is hard working and dedicated and driven to bring positive results concerning your case. She is the type of lawyer that checks in on you whether you are going to court or not, she is a very loving and kind.

Thanx Team Cohen law firm

Great person...Even GREATER WORK! Always open and optimistic. Honest and straight forward. We've dealt with one other attorney and we'll never deal with another one. If youre in need Of a Lawyer i strongly recommend Andy and Jill no hesitation!

To give this lawyer one star is a stretch and I only gave it to her because I was required too. I hired this lawyer because I was unjustly accused of a crime that I did not commit. Because I am not yet a citizen of the United States, I made it clear to Mrs. Polster and her partner Andy Cohen, that I needed this issue put to rest as soon as possible. After hiring this team to represent me, I found myself quickly regretting it as they failed to respond to my questions in a timely fashion, if at all. I was constantly given excuses such as them being out of town, etc. I was told that after my case was dismissed that I would be able to have my record expunged with no problem and that they would even recommend civil attorneys once the charges were dismissed. Neither happened. My request to have my record expunged was denied and when I sent an email to my attorney, the same one who told me it would not be a problem, it went unanswered. I called and tried to set an appointment and again, my calls went unanswered. Finally, I went to their office with my fiance and when we were finally able to speak to the attorneys, my fiancee and I sat and listened to this long, drawn out explanation as to why I needed to wait until July 2013 for some law to change before having my record expunged, and when my fiance asked a simple question as to why this was not conveyed from the beginning with the knowledge that time was of the essence, Jill very rudely told my fiance to leave the office. I am not sure if they thought that it would be easier to lie to me without her present seeing as though English is not my first language and because of their aggression towards her, I felt extremely uncomfortable continuing the conversation. Again, from the very beginning, I felt that I was doing all of the work that I hired my attorneys to do and towards the end, I felt as if they held the fact that I can have my record expunged in front of me like a carrot in front of a horse to persuade me to settle the case so that they can be released from responsibility. As a client, I should not be forced to feel like my case was not "big" enough for them to handle it with my best interest in mind. I should not feel like my attorney is working against me. I have all the emails between the Cohen Law Firm and myself confirming that everything I have said in this review is true, including the fact that I was told I would have no problem having my record expunged. At what point do you feel you have to keep records such as emails because you think your attorney may screw you over?
