I have been practicing law for over 22 years. Before moving to Georgia to pursue both my Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and my law degree from Emory University, I grew up the son of an Air Force pilot and nuclear engineer with strong roots in Louisiana.
I was fortunate to train under noted trial lawyers Roger Dodd and Tommy Malone before opening my own firm in 2002. My solo practice had offices in both Macon and Atlanta, allowing me to represent clients throughout Georgia. I am proud to have merged my practice with Kaufman Law in January 2015.
I've represented clients in a wide variety of serious personal injury cases, from aviation and medical malpractice to trucking negligence and premises liability; and have successfully tried cases to verdict throughout Georgia. I am admitted to all state trial courts, the Georgia Court of Appeals and Georgia Supreme Court, the Northern and Middle Federal Districts, and the United State Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit. I have served as Editor of the Aviation Section of the Georgia Bar, am an active member of the Georgia Trial Lawyers Association and the American Association for Justice, and previously served as President of the Middle Georgia Trial Lawyers Association.
My wife and I have four children and are members of Sacred Heart Church, where I am a longtime member of our men's service organization. I enjoy working in the community by judging High School Mock Trial Competitions in both Macon and Atlanta, educating nurses on legal issues in malpractice litigation, and providing charity piloting services to patients throughout the Southeast through Angel Flight of Georgia.
