About Me

I practice exclusively family law which includes adoptions, divorce, and post-divorce issues.  This covers a wide range of topics such as child support, custody, parenting plans, alimony, property division, marital businesses, modifications, contempts, etc.

I am a mediator and am very familiar with negotiation and the settlement process.  Although I believe that working towards settlement is usually a better path to preserve the parties' relationship (especially important when the parties still have minor children and must interact with each other regularly), I am skilled and confident in the Courtroom and will take a case to trial before a Judge or jury for my clients.

I am also a Guardian Ad Litem and am very familiar and comfortable with the factors that are taken into consideration in any custody case.  This requires that I investigate the parties and the facts, speak with witnesses, doctors, teachers, etc. depending on what the case requires and make a recommendation to the Court as to custody.
