She represents clients (both individuals and businesses) in all areas of litigation. She is originally from Valdosta and graduated from Valdosta High School.
Emily attended Oglethorpe University in Atlanta on a full scholarship. At Oglethorpe, she was named a James Edward Oglethorpe Scholar and was selected for an internship with Governor Perdue. George School of Law at Mercer University on the Mercer Lawyer Scholarship where she was selected to be an editor on Mercer’s Moot Court Board. At Mercer, she graduated cum laude and was awarded the Ruth T. West Award for Leadership and Advocacy.
Emily has been awarded two national titles for her advocacy skills: Best Oralist at the 2010 Charleston National Constitutional Law Competition and Top 5 Oralist at Emory University's 2009 National Civil Rights Competition.
