I am a private investigator in the Atlanta area that specializes in criminal defense cases. I have the opportunity to work with many attorneys and wanted to take a moment to recognize Matt's recent dismissal of a client charged with armed robbery. The client was himself a victim of a burglary and was only attempting recover his own belongings when he found himself charged with a felony. It was because of the constant level of personal involvement in the clients case that Matt was able to get the case dismissed at the preliminary hearing. Getting a dismissal that early on is rare and usually unobtainable. I commend Matt for the job he did and more than than that...I commend Matt for being the type of Attorney that stays in contact with his clients and or their family's. Many attorneys are great in court, it is the "hands on digging in deep" through the duration of the case that separates Matt from many lawyers.
Congratulations to Matt for being able to get the case resolved and his client out of jail after several weeks of waiting for his preliminary hearing.

I had a 20 year old FTA and my US (Georgia) license remained suspended for so long. Matt was extremely helpful and instrumental to pull the hard to find files at Atlanta Muni (from the 1990s) effectively liaising with both - the Court and the DDS.
I highly recommend him as a professional, well-networked, and highly dedicated attorney. He is simply the best. Thank you!

I've sought legal counsel from Mr. McNally on multiple occasion.
He has EXCEEDED my expectations every time!
He was able to have my DUI case completely dismissed and a separate case reduced without having to pay any fines, incur probation, or any other impositions.
Whenever I need to speak with him he has always been readily available, even on the weekend and outside "regular" business hours. He has made himself so available that sometimes I feel bad for asking him some stupid legal question at 9p.m. on a Saturday!!
Simply put, he goes above and beyond. He will handle your case with respect, answer your questions with prompt and real courtesy and he speaks to you like a person, not like a client thats been passed down the legal machine.
Please, do yourself a favor, contact him! One conversation with him about whatever legal trouble you are in will take a significant amount of stress off your shoulders!!

I have had the misfortune to need Mr. McNally’s services twice in the recent past. He took every parent’s nightmare and turned it into a manageable situation. He responded quickly to my family’s needs and reassured me immediately just by explaining what to expect and what needed to be done going forward. He is the complete antithesis of the typical attorney stereotype. He is honest, very knowledgeable of how the “system” works, compassionate, and fair. He called me back on a Sunday and got the ball rolling that very day. He quoted a price for his services and even though the case was drawn out over a year, the price remained the same and the result was the best possible outcome. Through his expertise in dealing with prosecutors and judges, he was able to take a second offense and have an equally positive outcome in a situation that could have and should have gone the other way. He is a Godsend and I would highly recommend him to anyone involved with a drug or DUI arrest, or any other type of arrest within his specialty. His paralegal, Melodie Reynolds, is also excellent - knowledgeable, efficient, and prompt in all of my dealings with her.

My underage daughter (19 years old) was arrested by Smyrna Police with a DUI, MIP, driving without a driver’s license on her person and speeding (57 in a 35). In a panic, I called Matthew McNally. He was the bright spot in this entire traumatic experience.
I’ve never hired an attorney before. He called me back very quickly after I left a message and explained all of my options – including not hiring an attorney. I was impressed with the quick response and that HE called me, not an assistant.
He was extremely responsive to me and to my daughter, over the phone, via email and via text. He met with us twice before our court date and we never felt rushed. He was very thorough, knowledgeable and accessible. He was also very kind and made us feel comfortable. I think these attributes helped him in court negotiating with the police, prosecutor and judge. He was able to get the underage DUI reduced to Reckless Driving and got the other 3 charges dropped.
I'm a fan and want to shout from the rooftops that he’s the best!
Kudos to his paralegal Melodie Reynolds as well. She runs an organized office and is also responsive, friendly and attentive.

I HIGHLY recommend Matthew.
When I felt extremely helpless about the charges I was as facing I couldn’t have found a better person to represent me. Matthew’s, confidence, command of the law and his genuine concern for me and the outcome of my case let me know I was in the right hands.
He was readily available and would return my calls at any time of the day or week. I also could tell that the judge, lawyers and everyone in the court room had a distinct respect for him. I know that went a long way to getting me the best outcome for my case.
I was amazed that he had the charges expunged and this night mare is over thanks to him. I’m not sure I would have gotten the same results from anyone else.
It’s too bad the last reviewer didn’t hire Matthew. I NEVER found Mr. McNally to be anything but professional, caring and helpful. I very much think that person really got the wrong impression.
Thank you Matthew for saving my life!

I contacted Mr. McNally concerning a friend who is incarcerated around the first week of September. I explained the situation to Mr. McNally who then stated that he would send out a contract via my email etc. It has been almost 2 weeks and I have not heard anything in regards to the matter. I would not recommend Mr. McNally if you are seeking an Attorney, nor would I recommend him to change out a light bulb. Not only did he have a very condescending attitude over the telephone, he keep insinuating that I was a girlfriend to the person in question. After having to clear the matter up, Mr. McNally responed with "my bad". Very unprofessional in my opinion and with all due respect, it seemed as though Mr. McNally assumed I didn't have the monies to cover his legal fees, because he abruptly informed me that he didn't accept payment plans. I never inquired about a payment plan. What a joke.

THE BEST!!!! I Highly Recommend Mr. McNally For any legal problem you might have. He is very knowledgeable and professional and reliable. I would trust Matt with any legal advice or representation knowing that he always works with my best interest. I was involved in a hit and run case and Mr. McNally was able to get that reduced to only following too closely which only cost me a $400 fine. The small fee that i spent hiring Mr. McNally saved me a lot of money, time, and legal trouble that i would have paid for if I had not hired Matt. I was truly a stressful situation that i never had to bust a sweat for because Matt handled everything. I would definitely give him a five star rating and would recommend him to anyone facing any type of legal trouble big or small.

The judge must have been insane. She was bullying and imperious, saying she was going to fine me over a thousand dollars and give me a criminal record for not cutting some grass that no one ever told me I needed to cut! Even the solicitor was aghast. The way her honor backed down when Matthew took over reminded me of a lion retreating from the trainer's whip. Thanks to him I was able to pay a reasonable fine and be done with it.
