So when i was first arrested i was given a court appointed attorney who didn't give me much hope in the beginning. He basically told me to prepare myself for prison and that he couldn't do anything for me. 5 1/2 months later i finally got my arraignment and my court appointed attorney didn't show up. He never answered my phone calls and never came to visit me after the first initial visit. Sitting in jail for 6 1/2 months without knowing anything is brutal. I was prepared for prison and had pretty much lost hope of getting out of jail and having my freedom back. I finally was able to hire an attorney at 6 1/2 months and i was very satisfied with Kyle Koester and his confidence in getting me out. He was the friendliest, and most caring lawyer i had ever met. 2 weeks later he had me out of jail and got me into rehab for six months. He was able to lower my probation and fought to keep my first offenders and prevailed! With felonies sitting on my record right now, he was able to get the Judge to agree with wiping my record clean if i can finish the remainder of my probation. This attorney changed my life and he fought tooth and nail to keep me out of prison and give me my life and freedom back! There is no better criminal attorney in Cherokee County than Kyle E. Koester.
