Matt Wetherington is a leader in the field of consumer safety. Whether he is representing a nationwide class harmed by corporate negligence or a local victim of individual carelessness, Matt is compassionate, creative, and extremely hard working for his clients.
Matt grew up in rural Climax, Georgia, and graduated from Bainbridge High School. He attended Mercer University where he completed the Great Books Program. After completing his undergraduate degree, Matt traveled 6,400 miles across America in a big green RV interviewing entertainers, corporate leaders, and social advocates for biographical stories on pursuing a fulfilling and purpose-driven life for the PBS television series Roadtrip Nation. After Roadtrip Nation, Matt returned to Mercer and attended the Walter F. George School of Law on a tuition scholarship.
In 2013, Matt founded the Tire Safety Group, which is a national consumer advocacy organization charged with informing consumers about the dangers associated with defective and improperly serviced tires.
