M. Khurram Baig is the founding Member of The Baig Firm. He has more than a decade of trial experience in the State and Federal courts of Georgia. Mr. Baig has also made special appearances in litigations venued in California, Illinois, New York and Washington, D.C. He has vast and varied experiences in the area of Corporate, Commercial, Small Business, Real Estate and Employment Litigation. Additionally, Mr. Baig's practice includes Criminal litigation and Tort litigation on a select basis.
As an alumnus of the historic Howard University School of Law, Mr. Baig was steeped in its long history of social and legal justice advocacy. As a result, he has routinely represented individuals who have been discriminated against by companies and governing authorities. Mr. Baig also frequently represents individuals in national security sweep interviews conducted by both Federal and Local agencies. Furthermore, Mr. Baig represents numerous religious institutions and non-profit organizations by providing both consulting and litigation services.
Mr. Baig has been selected as a Rising Star by Georgia Super Lawyers for four consecutive years (2012, 2013, 2014, 2015) and is a "Barrister" with the Lamar American Inn of Court. Additionally, Mr. Baig has served on the Board of Directors for the State Bar of Georgia's Young Lawyers Division and is a Past President of the South Asian Bar Association of Georgia. Currently, Mr. Baig serves on the Board of Directors for the Georgia Association of Muslim Lawyers, the Georgia Supreme Court's Commission on Interpreters and the Advisory Board for the Emory University Center for Ethics.
