My practice focuses primarily on employment litigation, representing employees in Unemployment Appeals Hearings, and before courts and administrative agencies in cases concerning all facets of discrimination, harassment, wrongful termination, retaliation, FMLA and FLSA. I also serve as counsel for local unions, advising and representing the union and union members in contract interpretation, the grievance process, and employment issues.
My practice also consists of Education Law., advising and representing students and parents in issues involving discrimination, bullying and discipline.
I remain active in my community through volunteer work with multiple organizations, including the YMCA of Greater Charlotte, Legal Aid and the Mecklenburg County Bar.
