Originally from Greensboro, N.C., Parker played football at Greensboro College where he graduated cum laude with a B.A. in Criminal Justice. After completing his undergraduate career, Parker attended Elon University School of Law and graduated cum laude with his J.D. in 2011. During Parker's time at Elon, he competed as a member of the moot court board at competitions in Boston and Virginia Beach. Parker also interned with the Federal Public Defender's Office as well as Associate Justice Robert Edmunds of the North Carolina Supreme Court.
Parker is admitted to practice by the North Carolina State Bar, as well as the United States District Courts for both the Western and Eastern Districts of North Carolina.
