I enjoy ballroom dancing, traveling, and college basketball. As a ballet dancer at the age of 4 and a college basketball enthusiast by the age of 12, I enjoy staying active and watching performances or games. I also enjoy learning about different cultures, listening to new types of music, and discovering new forms of dance through reading and traveling.
I moved to North Carolina at the age of 12. I went to middle school and high school in Cary, N.C. I graduated from the George Washington University in Washington, D.C., with a B.A. degree. I attended the University of North Carolina School of Law in Chapel Hill, N.C., and graduated with my J.D.
I live in Charlotte, N.C., enjoying the city life. I am an Associate Attorney at the McIlveen Family Law Firm. Although new to the practice of law, I am an enthusiastic, dedicated, and hard-working attorney committed to helping people from across Gastonia, Charlotte, and the surrounding areas.
As a child of divorce and domestic violence, I understand the emotional toll that accompanies complex family legal proceedings and the everyday fear of the unknown. From this background, I became dedicated to pursuing a legal career with the hopes of helping families and protecting children. I am thorough in my understanding, appreciation, and application of the law, and I am devoted to learning the story, situation, and legal needs of each and every client.
When I am not in the courtroom or in my office, you will find me on the dance floor, roaming museums and art events, or planning my next trip abroad.
