David Clapsadl was born and raised on the Crystal Coast of Eastern North Carolina. Mr. Clapsadl attended college at North Carolina State University, majoring in Political Science while minoring in Statistics. During his time as an undergraduate, Mr. Clapsadl worked as a student intern with the United States Attorney's Office for the Eastern District of North Carolina.
Upon graduating from NC State magna cum laude, Mr. Clapsadl enrolled in Chapel Hill at the University of North Carolina School of Law. While in law school, Mr. Clapsadl returned to the US Attorney's Office as a legal intern. In addition, Mr. Clapsadl was a member of UNC's Holderness Moot Court Team as well as the prestigious Order of the Barristers.
Following graduation, Mr. Clapsadl moved to Rocky Mount and joined the law firm of Keel, Lassiter, Duffy & Sperati, PLLC. In 2012, Mr. Clapsadl joined the Law Offices of Newton & Lee, PLLC in Wilson, North Carolina. As a skillful litigator, Mr. Clapsadl has tried a litany of cases including felony criminal cases, DWI, and various civil matters.
Mr. Clapsadl's involvement with the local community has included working with area youth sports leagues as well as with the local Teen Court association in addition to his association with various civic organizations. In his free time, Mr. Clapsadl is an avid hunter and fisherman.
