    • David handled my Divorce / Separation matter.

This lawyer is SOOOOOO slow. He has been paid & isn't doing anything. I've been waiting on my divorce now for 2 + years. It's one excuse after the other. His secretary stole money from him .....to, he's dealing with other cases. He never returns calls or txts....his mailbox is always full so you can't leave him a message. Prob by pissed off people like myself! My case just keeps being pushed to the side. Would NEVER recommend this guy to anyone for anything!!!

  2. Do not do business with this lawyer. I retained his services for a child custody case in 07/2011. He did nothing for me.

Do not do business with this lawyer. I retained his services for a child custody case in 07/2011. We agreed on a retainer. The agreement was that I would pay half of the retainer for him to get started and file a motion on my behalf. The other half of the retainer would be paid before the court date. He reviewed some court documents for my case and stated it had to be closed out in the other state. Before he could file anything in NC. In 02/12 I informed him that everything was closed out from the other state. He advised me that he would have to obtain copies of the court order to see what had taken place so far. In 05/12 he advised me to get a psychological evaluation. He said that once he gets the results back from the evaluation and they were favorable. He would file a motion on my behalf. It took awhile to find a professional who could administer the evaluation for me. I found someone in 7/12 and received counseling sessions. The report was completed and faxed over to the attorney as of first week of 09/12. I called the attorney a few time a week for 8 weeks straight. I spoke with the attorney at the end of 10/12 and he advised me that he did receive the evaluation and that the results were favorable. He stated that he was in the middle of an audit and that I should call him back in a week or two and he will see what he can do. I explained that a lot of time had passed and nothing had been filed on my behalf. I had done everything that he had requested. I constantly reminded him that it had been a long time since I had seen my son. I urged to take action immediately that this had been going on long enough. I tried contacting him a week after we spoke and left several messages. I did not receive a phone call back. I finally advised him in writing that I no longer wanted to use his services and that he should refund me my money back. He then contacted me by phone and stated on voicemail that he would be sending my materials. He never sent anything.
