Disputes affect our lives differently. Problem solving is just the start to change the outcome in your favor. Work through the issues. Develop a plan. Understand the outcomes. Hire someone who cares.
I can make the next step part of your plan, not theirs.
Fight for what you believe in.

An extremely talented and well respected attorney in the legal community, I wholeheartedly recommend him to anyone looking for a lawyer who knows the law and truly cares about protecting the rights of his clients and getting them the most favorable result possible.
John O'Brien Personal Injury Attorney
Relationship: Fellow lawyer in community
I endorse this lawyer. His answers on Federal Crime questions in the AVVO community are always well thought out and right on the mark. It is evident that he is an excellent attorney. A person in trouble could not go wrong by retaining him.
William Butler Federal Crime Attorney
Relationship: Fellow lawyer in community
This lawyer was disciplined by a state licensing authority.
This means the attorney did something wrong, but the Bar did not suspend the lawyer. Typically in this case the lawyer's poor behavior is exposed to the public in hopes that he or she will not repeat the behavior.
Stephen’s comment: “No amount of good works will ever erase the embarrassment in prosecuting my first Superior Court Case. While no judge, lawyer and especially client has ever complained about my work, here simply two defendants retaliated in the only way they knew how; by reporting my errors. This in no way reduces my culpability, but does offer perspective to those viewing my credential solely through the AVVO ratings system. I work to better myself: 2010 8.5 hours Ethics CLE, 2011 67 hours CLE, 2012 38 hours.”
Typically in this case the lawyer's poor behavior is exposed to the public in hopes that he or she will not repeat the behavior.
Stephen’s comment: “The same case, which lasted over 5 years with 22 Plaintiff motions, 19 Defendants' motions, 6 judges, 4 investigations by state and federal agencies and the Plaintiff winning the final litigation. Everyone lost something here, especially me. In 2005, no law existed protecting pre-foreclosure homeowners from businesses offering credit repair or rescue though equity shifting and straw buyers. The Defendants' business and the mortgage broker providing over 1.2m in bogus home loans no longer exist.”
