sometimes in life you get caught up in situations so bad you need a person to fight for you because you are unable to fight for yourself, and that is exactly what Mrs. O'Brien does. She will fight with every legal tool at her disposal in order to make sure her clients get what they deserve. She does not care if the fight is against the United states military or the state, she'll fight for what's right, and she does not care how long it will take to get justice, and the best thing is she will WIN!!!, and win big. I would Hire this lawyer at the drop of a hat because she takes care of business.
I recently called Ms. O’Brien concerning a long-ago Court Martial. I had long been convinced that dealing with the restoration of rights — my right to vote and possess a firearm — would be long, difficult and expensive. Much of that impression came from reviewing law-based opinions on the Internet. Ms. O’Brien methodically talked me through the reverent laws, revealing that, based on Federal and Virginia laws, I was already eligible to vote and possess a firearm. She also pointed out the errors of many Internet Barracks Lawyers, including those who have law degrees. If you are looking for a lawyer, look no further. Contact Ms. O’Brien. She is a straight-talker, clear thinker and is extremely patience in explaining the law. If I ever need a lawyer again, it will be Ms. O’Brien.
Crystina works long hours, making herself available to clients outside of normal business hours. She is dedicated and assiduously in representing her clients. In addition to her office hours, she is prompt is responding to phone calls and email correspondence. For those of us not fluent in legal language, she easily translates legalese into layman's terms.
When consulted about a custody matter. This lady went on the attack suggesting unspeakable things that suggest that she will not as some reviews have said, fight for you. From what I gather, she forms opinion without obtaining all of the pertinent facts. This is not someone you want representing you in a custody proceeding.

I have a unique case and have been in complete depression for the last 3 days wondering what false accusations could be thrown my way. After 5 minutes of talking to her on the phone, she made me feel at ease about my situation, re-iterated the fact that I was a victim, and advised me to reach out to her when needed and she'll have my back. In 20 minutes she lifted a huge burden off my shoulders, in which I felt like reaching through the phone and hugging her like I knew her. Thank you, Christina, you're now on my speed dial!!!! #simplythebest
I had a previous lawyer and was going through a nasty custody divorce issue. I met with O'Brien law firm to get a second opinion and the o Brien law firm eased all my concerns. I have hired them and have no doubt they can get the job done. Every attorney there is hard working, honest, knowledgeable and kind. I wish I hired them from the start. No more sleepless nights worrying about my case.

I had been involved with a case in which I was indicted facing 5 to 25 years for a crime I did not commit. I was from out of town and never was in trouble in my life with the law. I had to continue to travel back and forth to VA to show up for court dates. I had an attorney prior to her but I was recommended to utilize her talents for my case. Her expertise in criminal law is impeccable. She is very detailed and very compassionate about her clients. Nevertheless, through the whole ordeal I came out with my case being dismissed and not having to be there for the dismissal, also my case was expunged. Her prices are affordable and she really works with you to get the best results. I’m grateful for her services and if anyone has any criminal issues in the VA area, I recommend you reach out to her.

Ms. O'Brien represented me for a complicated custody hearing. I originally hired an attorney who was not responsive to my questions or getting to know my case. I released my prior attorney and chose Ms. O'Brien after reading reviews on Avvo. Although the case was complicated and in midstream, Ms. O'Brien agreed to represent me. She was immediately available to meet with me and our 2 hour appointment lasted at least 3.5 hours. Ms. O'Brien took the time to get to know my case, responded promptly to all emails, demonstrated compassion and was well versed on family law. I immediately felt at ease with Ms. O'Brien and believe that she provides excellent advocacy and representation. I could not have asked for a better attorney and the outcome of the case was favorable.

I chose Crystina as my attorney because of her military background and figured we would share common ground as I was retired Navy. I was right, she was exactly what I wanted/needed. Not only is she aggressive in her style but extremely intelligent in court. Nothing, and I mean nothing slips by or goes unnoticed by her. She knew from the beginning that my case was a challenge and she rose to the occasion and her performance was flawless. Crystina makes herself very available to her clients. She will return every phone call and email. She will keep you in the loop as your case progresses through the system.
Crystina does not shy away from litigation and will not pressure you to take the plea deal. She loves a challenge and in my case, exceeded all expectations. I cannot say enough of how pleased I was with her performance as my attorney. Her firm is still small enough to where you are not just a client with a checkbook but a person who needs help.

Over the course of the last year and I half I have been going through a rough time in the Army. I was wrongfully accused of some things, the former unit command treated me like dirt and wouldn't afford me due process, the Army TDS was Counsel was ineffective, at the end of the day I day I thought my career was over. I decided to get on-line to find a civilian attorney. The Hampton Roads has numerous attorneys that deal with Navy and Air Force Law due to this area's saturation of such, but not many that deal with Army Law for servicemembers like myself. When Crystina met with me and took my case she jumped in feet first and assured me from the beginning that I would be o.k.. SHE DID NOT LIE! Mrs. O'brien fiercely engaged my command and was able to dissect with expert precision the erroneous documents my unit was forcing on me and placing in my records, she tirelessly researched all aspects of the case, wrote amazing and well versed appeals and rebuttals on my behalf, and really, really, really took the fight to my unit and was able to prove my innocence to a culminating seperation board in the end. I am so thankful to have someone on my side who doesn't back down and exhausts any means and long hours to help. I recommend her to anyone who need a great attorney, especially military servicemembers, she is a veteran and her military experice is invaluable. Crystina is a good hearted and caring person to work with, but when it is time to fight for you she is an absolute bulldog and that is what you need most!
