About Me

Chris routinely litigates cases within General District Court, Circuit Court and Federal District Court.  He has litigated in all levels of Virginia’s trial courts as well as litigating in the Virginia Court of Appeals, Virginia Supreme Court, U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia, and the U.S. Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals. While knowing that some cases will settle without the need of litigation, Chris prepares every case as if it will ultimately be brought before the court.  He has an active litigation practice helping those wronged by the carelessness of others and is often referred cases from attorneys both local and from around the country.

Chris is a Life Member of the Virginia Beach Volunteer Rescue Squad (VBVRS) where he served as an attendant in charge and a field training instructor to the VBVRS.  He has coupled his EMS & leadership experience in the community and now serves actively on the Tidewater EMS Council which facilitates regional cooperation, planning and implementation of an integrated emergency medical services delivery system.  His citizen engagement extends beyond the courtroom, as he is also a member of the City of Virginia Beach Beaches and Waterway Commission appointed by the City Council.  He is a practicing attorney in the Hampton Roads Community and litigates cases throughout Virginia along with being a member of the Virginia Trial Lawyers Association, Virginia State Bar, Norfolk Portsmouth Bar Association, Virginia Beach Bar Association, and the Norfolk/Newport News Criminal Justice Act Panel.  He has made appearances on television ranging from the safe towing of trailers to winter weather safety, and crashes that occur upon the roadway.
