Description: Arlington Assault and Battery case in which defendant is the spouse of a prominent Washington DJ. The DJ's wife allegedly slapped and punched DJ's mistress as she attempted to enter the DJ's residential building. The victim presented a witness - her girlfriend to corroborate the fact that the wife was the primary aggressor and threw the first strike which ended in a brawl. The Prosecutor's best offer included jail time due to the injuries and alleged fact pattern. Sudeep Bose tried the case and spent 2 hours gently hammering out the facts from the mistress and her girlfriend. Bose was able to point to various inconsistencies in observations and various motives to lie and "bend the truth" during trial.
