also known as Rachael Hammer
I am a D.C. native who grew up on Capitol Hill. I attended Columbia University and graduated with a degree of Political Science. I lettered in Crew and Football.
After college, I entered the field of Education Policy. Two classes shy of my Master's in Education from George Washington University, I decided that law was the way real change is enacted.
I attended Georgetown University School of Law. I now represent corporate and individual clients, as both plaintiffs and defendants, in federal and state court. My practice is primarily in the area of general litigation, with an emphasis on foreclosure defense, including bankruptcy and insurance disputes. I have successfully negotiated dozens of modifications and settlements of homes facing foreclosure. I have also brought such cases to trial in both Virginia and Maryland federal and state courts.
I have also developed a thriving practice in family law including divorce and child custody and support.
