My name is Yordanos Woldai and I am an immigration lawyer committed to advocating on behalf of individuals and families facing immigration issues. As a first-generation immigrant, I have a unique perspective on immigration related issues. My immigration practice involves all areas of immigration law, including: family-based immigration, fiancé(e) and marriage visas, adjustment of status, naturalization and U.S. citizenship, asylum, and removal/deportation defense.
I am an active member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) and its Washington, DC Chapter. I am admitted to practice in the Commonwealth of Virginia and the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia.
I received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Foreign Affairs from the University of Virginia. I earned my Juris Doctorate from the University of Maryland School of Law. During law school, I interned with the Department of Justice, Executive Office of Immigration Review (EOIR).

I endorse this lawyer. Yordanos is smart, dedicated, hardworking, and knowledgable. When she opened her practice, she wanted to concentrate on client care as much as on successful case outcomes. The result is that she takes care of her immigration law clients in a caring way while still fighting aggressively for them in court. She is amazing!
