I had only briefly met Luke months before, so I was a little concerned when Luke arrived in court instead of Garrett, my attorney and Luke's partner. Garrett was not available that day, so Luke represented me.
Luke performed as if he had been working on my case for months. Luke immediately made me comfortable with his knowledge of the case and with his strategy. Due to Luke's ability, preparation and strategy he was able to get a DWI charge dismissed. This was a difficult case and I had worried for months that the case was not winnable. Even with the many problems with the case, Luke was able to win.
Luke was very good to work with, as was Garret, his partner, and Dan and Katie of their staff. They all were responsive and helpful and each had a genuine interest in the outcome of my case.
The firm's fees were reasonable, and even more so if one were in a situation to require an appeal/second case. Given the seriousness of the charge and the high cost of being convicted, I definitely feel it was money well spent.
I definitely would recommend Luke and his firm.

Hiring Luke to represent me was the smartest decision I made. He was knowledgeable, friendly, and put me at ease. He very obviously had my best interests at heart. Our first instinct when going to court was to try to end up with a minimal fine and to put the experience behind us. Luke listened to our concerns, and discussed a strategy with us. In the end, we decided the trust him. Our result was better than we had expected and Luke proved himself to be an exceptional attorney with a strong knowledge of the law and police procedures.

even though I didn't involve myself as much as I should have, Mr. Nichols and his team made sure they were fully informed and kept me on point every step of the way. He got in there and made sure he spoke with all parties involved and had things worked out before we ever saw the judge. The man is a hustler, meaning he hustles hard for you. Can't always get what you want in the legal system but the man certainly saved my ass and I'm very grateful for his skills and hard work. The fee was very fair and his work top notch.

RUN AWAY!! Mr. Nichols is a nice guy but refused to defend me in the manner upon which we agreed. I spent a great deal of time researching the elements of my case on the internet and discussed, in great detail, everything that I found and how I wanted to be defended. In his office, Luke and I seemed to be on the same page but when push came to shove in the courtroom, he refused to bring up SOLID legal points. He even seemed to be getting all chummy with the prosecution as if they were old college buddies. After advising me not to contest a false versioin of events brought on by the prosecution, he loss the case and has refused to represent me any further despite his created errors in the case. His position on the matter was that his "contract had expired" and thus he was "no longer obligated to defend or help [me] in any way". Although affordable, I would suggest you find an attorney with more experience before you are disappointed in the court room as well. Eight-hundred dollars later (the last bit of wealth that I had left), I am no better off now than I was before I walked into his office.. as a matter of fact, I am much worst off had I stayed out of his office.

I got a reckless driving ticket back in early Feb for passing a parked school bus. Then court date was postponed to May due to snow. So it is a long process. And I can not wait to get it over with.
Mr. Nichols helped me to reduce the charge from a criminal to speeding ticket and a fine of 150 plus
court fee total a little over 200 which is much lower than what I expected. And I was at the court for only one hour. He is friendly and charismatic easy to work with. He makes the court experience less stressful.

Luke got my "reckless by speed" reduced to a speeding ticket. Not sure of implications of criminal misdemeanor associated with reckless charge but now I don't have to worry about. Luke negotiated with DA twice because first "offer" still included criminal charge which I needed to avoid (unknown but potential impact on employ-ability - I work in pharmaceutical industry). Would definitely recommend Luke and the firm in general. Fast response to all my questions, told me all the things I needed to do to bolster my case and followed through with a "win".

My daughter was facing a reckless driving charge of 85mph in a 55mph. She has a terrible DMV record, with accidents and tickets. He got it reduced to speeding 74mph in a 55mph and a fine of $150.00. More important, no criminal conviction to include in future job applications. I was expecting at least a $1,500.00 fine. What more can I say.
