Not to bore you with my long and tedious case. In A few words Garret Greet is the BEST LAWYER in the world. My charge had a mandatory LOSS OF LICENSE for 1 year with no possible restricted license, and jail time . As a business owner, father of a toddler, and husband not being able to drive would have been a devastating blew to myself and my families well-being. Received a citation for reckless due to speed and have an otherwise clean driving record. Garrett appeared for me in Court and was able to reduce the charge to failure to obey a highway sign. The ultimate fine and points were significantly less than what would have come with the original charge, and coupled with the difference in insurance premiums made the fee for their representation well worth the cost. Virginia has very strict rules about Reckless Driving. Driving 20 miles per hour above the speed limit triggers this charge--a Class I misdemeanor--even if there's no aggravating circumstances and you were traveling 79 in a 55 on a freeway, as I was. The charge can be quite scary. As a crime, it goes on your record forever and comes with 6 insurance points. At worst, it carries jail time and the potential for huge fines.

Green, and his partner, Luke Nichols, did a first-rate job. They were reassuring and spoke with absolute authority. And they got me as good of an outcome as I could have hoped for. My charge was reduced to a speeding ticket, 74 in a 55, and I received 4 insurance points instead of 6, and got a $100 fine instead of a $250.

It's well worth the $700 investment I put in getting a lawyer. Much can be said about the fairness of Virginia's law, but find yourself in this predicament, it is well worth it. I can't recommend this firm highly enough.

I had seen Mr. Green in action at a court appearance where I was a witness, and was impressed by his calm and professional manner while representing his client. The defendant in the case told me how happy he was with the result obtained by Mr. Green that I took one of the latter’s business cards.

I needed representation myself at one point, and unhesitatingly contacted Mr. Green’s office. He promptly responded; both Mr. Green and his partner, Mr. Nichols, were ready to help me. Mr. Nichols was also very helpful, and conducted a phone interview about the circumstances of my case, answering all of my questions and not ending the call until I felt that I understood everything. I later met with Mr. Green at his office, where he gave me a cautiously optimistic evaluation of my case.

The fees covered any and all court actions required until the case would be resolved, including appeals and continuations, so I felt immensely relieved to know that I would have representation as long as I needed it.

Fortunately, Mr. Green was able to negotiate a good outcome for my case on the first court date, so, although I had the option to continue the case, I was able to resolve it quickly and move on with my life. Virginia has senseless and reckless mandatory sentencing laws, which only our elected representatives can change, but Garrett Green is in town and able defend me and others against them.

Mr. Green is courteous, friendly, and extremely professional, and, as I’ve learned, well-regarded in the Fairfax court system. Neither he, nor his partner, Mr. Nichols, will “gild the lily” and tell you anything beyond what the facts of the case can bear, but he will aim for the best possible resolution. Picked up a reckless driving ticket in N VA for speeding with no extenuating circumstances. The challenge for me is that I hold officer positions in public companies and clearances, a conviction of this type is troublesome relative to both activities. I did not want to take any chances with it. Garrett was professional, efficient and effective. The result is a verdict of 64 in a 55. Glad to pay it and move on. My case was complicated, involving an accident and a DWI, and the very real possibility that I would be serving active jail time as a result of this. Of all the lawyers I interviewed, Mr. Green was the most experienced, knowledgeable and approachable. While the outcome was not the most favorable, I was very relieved that he negotiated to have the charge linked to the accident dropped, so that all jail time was suspended. I was also granted a restricted driver's license rather than a full suspension of my driving privileges. Overall, I am grateful to Mr. Green and satisfied with the results. The only thing I wish had been handled differently was to have my case continued to a date before the new law requiring first time DUI/DWI offenders to have an ignition interlock device installed in their vehicles. I then contacted the Law Office of Nichols & Green and spoke with both Mr. Nichols and Mr. Green as well as a member of their office staff. All three of these gentleman were most professional. They first were able to make it so I did not have to apper in court, and then Mr. Green represented me at trial. The overall process from dealing with the paperwork to the actual court case was fairly simple and straightforward. This lawyer is very knowledgeable and is very "in the know" about the prosecutors in the Fairfax County courts which helped my case today. Highly recommended if you want serious representation for your case. Price was very fair.
