Kim DiGiovanni Aluisi, Esq., one of the top lawyers in Annapolis, has been a strong advocate for family law clients since 1986, managing conflict between spouses and other domestic partners, promoting solutions outside of the courtroom, and successfully litigating disputes by presenting the best available evidence when reasonable minds fail to prevail.
Issues involving divorce, custody, alimony, child support, equitable division of property, domestic violence, premarital agreements, and adoptions are resolved or litigated by Kim with the assistance of her team of competent and skilled legal support staff. Every client is assigned a paralegal, who provides support directly to the client without the stress of billable charges, a resource essential in maintaining affordable representation and effective communication with clients. Kim regularly represents clients in Anne Arundel, Baltimore, Calvert, Charles, Howard, Montgomery, Prince George’s, Queen Anne’s, St. Mary’s, Talbot Counties and Baltimore City.
Before joining the ranks of the most respected lawyers in Annapolis, Kim was employed from 1984 to 1999 by the State of Maryland Senate President Thomas V. “Mike” Miller, Jr., our nation’s longest serving State Senate President, where she served as an associate attorney; and has managed her own practice since that time.
Kim is a long time Marylander currently residing in Anne Arundel County. She first lived in Prince George’s County for more than forty years. She earned her Juris Doctorate in 1985 from the University of Baltimore School of Law and her Bachelors of Arts from the University of Maryland, College Park in 1982. She also attended Elizabeth Seton High school in Bladensburg.
Kim is married to retired Prince Georges County Sheriff James Aluisi. In keeping with her family’s tradition of public service and law enforcement, her son is a graduate of the University of Maryland, College Park, and the Prince Georges County Police Academy.
