There's really nothing else to say about Christina from her favorite client. She is reliable, knowledgeable, honest, ethical, and will tell you up front what to expect before and after court. I went through one of the most difficult times, if not the most difficult time of my life feeling helpless to protect my child as a result of the bitterness of a divorce. After hiring an attorney who thought my divorce would be an easy one, I was referred to Christina to take over my case. She did an excellent job and I could not be more satisfied. I have referred at least 3 people to her for assistance. Highly recommend! Rate her 5 plus stars!!!

It's was nice to have Mrs.Bayne as my attorney. I would recommend her as an attorney to anyone with out a worry. My ex was making things very hard and any time I had a question I would email Mrs. Bayne and I knew no matter the day or time she would respond. If she knew she wouldn't be able to get right back because she was in court she would send me a message letting me know. She is very down to earth and not looking just to take your money but to try and make the process the easiest it can be considering the situation. You may not like all that she will tell you but she is always honest and won't tell you something just to make you feel better. If she believes the court won't be on your side for something she will tell you and will let you decide how to proceed. I'm thankful I found her and if I ever need an attorney again she will be the first person I call. Since my case has been closed I still had a few questions and she was still willing to answer them and help me and not just pawn me off since my case was closed.
There was never a time I was ever disappointed with my choice hiring Mrs.Bayne.

Christina is the most caring and compassionate attorney I have ever had. She goes above and beyond for me even after my case had closed. Day or night she's there to answer any questions I may have, offers advice or just there for support. She knows the law like the back of her hand and is quick as a whip in the court room. I highly recommend her to anyone going to family court!

When I first met Christina, I knew that God had put me in good hands. Christina is a very knowledgeable family law attorney. She helped me through one of the most difficult experiences I had ever faced. She handled my case professionally, making sure that I was prepared for my hearings. Christina guided me through every step of the divorce process and did not mind listening to all of the thoughts, questions and concerns that I had. After all was said and done, through her efforts, I was awarded the long-overdue child support and custody arrangement that I needed and peace of mind to close a very difficult and sad chapter in my life.

Consulted with Ms. Bayne on a divorce matter. She stated that since we did not live together in Maryland, we had to file in Pennsylvania where we did live together. Called Pennsylvania lawyers and they all said she doesn't know what she's talking about -- you have to file in the state in which you reside because your state of residence is where jurisdiction is held. Not going back to this firm.

Christina M Bayne’s response: “If husband lives in Maryland and wife lives in Pennsylvania a divorce action can be filed in either Maryland or Pennsylvania provided that the length of residence requirement has been met. However, if wife has no contacts with Maryland, and all of the marital property is physically located in Pennsylvania, the only relief that the Maryland court can grant is the divorce. The Maryland Court is not able to deal with any marital property issues. Additionally, if the parties have children together and they reside in Pennsylvania and have resided in Pennsylvania for more than 6 months prior to the filing of the divorce, Maryland Courts also do not have jurisdiction to consider custody, visitation, or child support issues. Therefore, the issue of where to file is much more complicated then it is portrayed in the above comment. Based on the information received from a client, I try to refer them on the best course of action. It typically does not make sense to be litigating custody in one state and the divorce in another. Furthermore, if there is a pending custody action in Pennsylvania and husband files in Maryland, wife may file a motion to dismiss and/or transfer in Maryland to have all actions heard in Pennsylvania, which will only increase attorney's fees in both cases.”

Christina was an excellent attorney. She was informative, confident and put me at ease over the entire legal process. She kept me informed on all processes of the system and lent a shoulder when I was stressed (which is unheard of from an attorney). I highly recommend her to everyone. She is a fantastic Attorney with great values, great mannerisms, and incredible knowledge of the family legal system.

Christina Bayne has always made sure that she worked toward the best interest of myself and my children. I felt as though she would put herself in my shoes and give advice based on her experience with the law and court proceedings. Many situations came up that required legal advice and she was always very quick to respond and was always very supportive.
I never felt intimidated by her and/or asking questions in regards to my rights with the law. She never made me feel like I was wasting her time with "stupid" questions. There is no doubt that I would highly recommend her and will definitely continue to retain her should I need additional representation for legal proceedings.
