Alison L Asti

I am the former Executive Director and General Counsel of the Maryland Stadium Authority. In that capacity, I negotiated the leases with the Baltimore Orioles and the Ravens, and handled all commercial transactions in connection with the construction and operation of Camden Yards. In addition, I oversaw the construction of over $1 billion in public and public-private facilities throughout Maryland. I have lectured throughout the country and in Europe on the business of sports. Prior to my work at the MSA, I was partner at the Baltimore law firm Gordon Feinblatt. I currently provide mediation and arbitration services as a member of The McCammon Group, an alternative dispute resolution services firm, and business consulting services for sports and economic development projects as President of Asti Strategic Advisors, LLC. I was President of the Maryland State Bar Association in 2007-08, and am former President of the Baltimore City Bar, the Baltimore Women's Bar, the Metropolitan Bar Caucus (a national group of metro bar presidents), the Maryland Bar Foundation and the Baltimore Bar Foundation, and am Chair of the Editorial Board of The Daily Record. I have been a member of the ABA House of Delegates for 5 terms. I am also a Director of the University System of Maryland Foundation, and a member of the Board of Visitors of Maryland Law School. My interests include equestrian sports, water sports, skiing and gardening.
