About Me

I am a native of Anne Arundel County, Maryland, received my undergraduate degree from the University of Maryland in 2000 and graduated Magna Cum Laude.  I was also a member of the prestigious Phi Beta Kappa Honor Society.

I received my Juris Doctor degree from the University of Maryland School of Law in 2003. During law school, I served as an Affiliate Editor of Margins Law Journal and served as a summer judicial clerk for the Honorable Judge Philip T. Caroom, in the Circuit Court for Anne Arundel County. After law school, I began working with a law firm focusing mainly on family law cases.  I have successfully negotiated and resolved several family law cases and has tried several contested family law cases across the state of Maryland, with my primary practice in Anne Arundel County.  I am an active member of the Anne Arundel County and Maryland State Bar Associations.

Not only do I represent parties in a contested custody case, I also have been appointed by the Court in several cases to represent the best interests of the children.  In addition, I have been appointed as a waiver attorney to determine whether to assert or waive a child's privilege with their health care provider.  Additionally, I volunteer at the Circuit Court for Anne Arundel County as a facilitator to assist parties in resolving their matters at a Scheduling Conference.
