I hired Ed because I liked his style, and he is a family person like me. He even made accommodations to meet me on a Saturday. The main reason to hire Ed though, is because he primarily focuses on DUI cases. I was facing a DUI in Calvert County, and I needed Ed’s help. Ed’s level of communication after I hired him was excellent, he responded to my phone calls and texts immediately every time. The day of court, I was pretty nervous, even though Ed already told me what the outcome was going to be. Ed had met previously with the state prosecutor, and they state agreed to Ed’s requests. There was no evidence from the DUI charge, and even though I didn’t do very well on the “walk test”, Ed was able to prove that it was primarily due to my broken foot and not because they assumed I had been drinking. The state amended the DUI charge, and charged me with a speeding ticket since I was initially pulled over for speeding. The speeding ticket resulted into a PBJ (unsupervised) with NO points, and a $200.00 court fine. I was quite relieved when the judge said that in court. I would most definitely recommend Ed Tayter as the best DUI attorney in Maryland. He was great!
After my son received a DUI I was overwhelmed and upset because he has a CDL and we knew due to these infractions his license and employment were in jeopardy. I called several attorneys but ultimately retained Mr. Tayter, he assured us of what he could do, he did exactly that, and proudly I can say my sons commercial license did not take a hit and he is still gainfully employed due to the efforts and knowledge of Ed Tayter. Best decision, highly recommend!
Mr Tayter is very knowledgeable with his cases. I was arrested August 2013 for my first DUI. Not only the police officer found that I was extremely intoxicated during the night of the incident, I was also charged with attempt fleeting by vehicle and attempt fleeting on foot, due to my extreme intoxication. I was awfully anxious after the incident and sought several lawyers for their opinion; yet Mr. Tayter was the only one that could assuage my concerns. When you hire him, not only you are paying for his expertise on the subject matter, you are also paying for his connection with other lawyers, and most importantly, his knowledge of the judges in Maryland area. He promised me that there will be a 90% chance that I will get out with a PBJ, with a few hundred dollar fines and no further records on my background whatsoever. At first I was a little skeptical about the percentage that he threw out, but after my court day today I was not disappointed at the result: the judge gave me a PBJ of one year probation with no fines. I was really satisfied with Mr Tayter's knowledge and experience on handling DUI cases, and would definitely recommend him for anyone in Maryland who made the same mistake like I did lats year and needed a lawyer to provide them with the best defense they deserve.
Another plus for Mr Tayter is that he is willing to offer an alternative payment plan who those who are poor and needed it. He is eager to help and enthusiastic to learn about his clients, which made the rapport established really easy for us.
I was fortunate enough to work with Mr. Tayter under unfortunate circumstances. From the very beginning he was nothing but straightforward, honest, and detail oriented. Having worked with other lawyers before, I was a bit apprehensive when it came time to hire another one. Mr. Tayter put my mind at ease, assuring me that he was in my corner 100%, and would be there from start to finish. In my wildest dreams I couldn't have expected the outcome we were able to receive, and would recommend Ed to anyone if they're ever in need of assistance.
First off, when I got my DUI I was embarrassed and overwhelmed by the fact that this was so unexpected. When I was searching for a lawyer I was looking online and got a call back from the firm that contacted me with DUI Attorney Ed Tayter with Price Benowitz, LLP. He definitely knows the DUI process to a T and catered his knowledge to my DUI. He made me feel very comfortable with the confidence in his voice and I was glad that he offered a payment plan, which is extremely beneficial to those who otherwise would not be able to afford it entirely up front. When we first sat down, Ed gave me a very clear understanding regarding how things would go and to my relief it went exactly as we thought. Ed took control of the situation and with his knowledge of how PG County works he managed to get my DUI case with a BAC of .23 dismissed. I can’t tell you how pleased I am with Ed’s communication, transparency, and professionalism throughout the entire process and would HIGHLY recommend him to anyone with a DUI in Maryland.
This was all a new experience for me and I was initially very worried. This was my first DUI and/or criminal charge. A few friends of mine told me to go online and look for an attorney and I read a few reviews for Dui and Criminal defense attorneys in Maryland. I submitted a request and within a few minutes of sending that request I got a call from attorney Ed Tayter from Price Benowitz, LLP. After a conversation with Mr. Tayter I actually felt very reassured and comfortable with what we spoke of. He did offer me a payment plan, though at the time I wasn’t really concerned about the price. He displayed a solid knowledge of the legal system, specifically the area of DUIs. After I chose Mr. Tayter we talked a few times via email and phone and we decided to go to trial. Once the trial date came, though it was a long wait, I was found not guilty. Mr. Tayter was confident and professional in both my communications with him and in the trial experience. Overall, I was very pleased with both the service and the outcome.
I was charged with my second dui. I was scared about losing my job and possibly doing jail time. I chose DUI attorney Ed Tayter as my lawyer to represent me. I was facing two years in prison and was very worried about how this may affect my future. Ed examined my case and was confident that he could get me out of jail time. Ed kept me in the loop about my case. The best moment was when he let me know about the calibration date for the breathalyzer machine, which was great for my case because we found out the machine was not tested correctly. At the conclusion of the case Ed was able to have the DUI, along with several other traffic violations, completely dismissed. The outcome was a minor traffic ticket with no jail time and keeping my license. This outcome was a huge relief
