I consulted Andrew Dansicker initially to review an employment contract. Later, I utilized his expertise to review the terms of separation from my current employer. The first process was straightforward. The second was a little bit more tedious but it was made smooth and as worry-free as possible through Mr. Dansicker's guidance. Of course, the positive outcome will undoubtedly bias my experience with Andrew Dansicker but consider it part and parcel of any review be it of a restaurant or lawyer.
I initially contacted him after doing a Google search. Setting up an appointment was very easy especially because he had availability during the evening which is very important since I also work typical business hours. From the get go, he was straightforward, down-to-earth, and very approachable with questions. No condescending paternalism, he always welcomed my opinion and insights. That said, it was clear that he knew what he was doing and that made me comfortable in following his lead. He kept me in the loop through frequent e-mail.
He has a fair rate for his service without the nickel and diming that I hear about with other lawyers. I assume he does this for all cases but of course, I may be wrong.
Based on my experience, I can confidently say that Andrew Dansicker is an excellent lawyer, and I get the feeling that he won't be the first to brag about it. If anyone asks, I would not hesitate to recommend him. And of course, if the need arises, I would not hesitate to seek his counsel again.

It was my very first time filing for unemployment after 35 yrs of working. Then I was denied my benefits. I called Mr. Dansicker and he helped me with all the questions that I had. I began working with his associate Mr. Lundstedt and every step of the way he made me feel so comfortable and have less anxiety about this whole situation. My husband worked for a local branch of government and was fired for unjust causes due to an accusation made by another employee. He was denied unemployment benefits, so we hired Mr. Dansicker’s law firm to handle the appeal hearing with DLLR (as well as a settlement which is detailed in another review).

We originally met with Andreas Lundstedt, an attorney employed by Andrew’s firm, and we were very pleased with him. He took lots of notes, asked very good questions and was very thorough. Neither my husband nor I had a very high opinion of lawyers (I have a relative that is a lawyer and I deal with lawyers in my volunteer work), but our opinion changed after meeting with this attorney. He took the ball and ran with it…he sent a letter to DLLR requesting the hearing to be rescheduled and for it to be an in-person hearing (DLLR had the original appeal hearing as via telephone), kept us informed and answered our questions/concerns as they arose promptly.

About one week before the new hearing date, Mr. Lundstedt was called out of state unexpectedly and Mr. Dansicker stepped in to handle our case for us.

When we looked for an attorney, it became clear that many attorneys don’t want to bother with you if the case won’t bring them what they deem to be a big rate of return on the time they invest. That was not the case with Andrew. He treated our case very seriously, met with us to go over the facts, briefed us on what to expect, read the documentation we brought, patiently answered our questions and addressed our concerns and, the night before, spent time reviewing the file at home.

He came to the hearing on-time and totally prepared and, as one person said, “knocked it out of the park”. He had a thorough understanding of the case, what actually transpired that day involving my husband and what was written up in his file that was not true. He was so effective in the examination of the so-called witnesses presented by the employer, that it was determined by the hearing judge their testimonies were not credible. The only testimonies that were given credibility were that of our character witness and my husband’s!

The decision to deny unemployment was overturned and my husband received all the benefits that were due to him.

By the way….he’s a nice guy, too.

I used Mr. Dansicker to appeal the denial of my unemployment benefits. The original determination was that I left a job without good cause or valid circumstances. I decided to appeal the finding and hired Mr. Daniscker. After the appeal-hearing the original decision was modified- in my favor! Valid circumstances were found. I was reinstated for unemployment benefits and was able to collect my "back-weeks" while I was appealing (over 5000 dollars!). I would highly recommend Mr. Dansicker to handle an unemployment appeal

I actually think I was lucky to find a lawyer like him. Before I met Andrew Dansicker, my view of lawyers was as follows: I don't like or trust most lawyers. I think they are the major problem in the universe and the US. I think they are the reason for the issues in government and healthcare. He was honest, straight forward and worked from his heart as well as his mind. He was trust worthy. He helped me deal with issues that most lawyers would not have and did turn and run from. He gave me not only great advice but wasn't afraid of dealing with and had the clear experience to deal with fighting big employers and corporations even hospitals and university's that are supposedly number in the country. I thank him for helping obtain peace of mind and stopping other from harressing and maligning my name.
He was so good that I went back to him to help me understand my new contract and employment.
